World Ending Game
World Ending Game is a tabletop game written to serve as the last session of a campaign in any system. It should come after the finale, whatever that is for your table; the dragon defeated, the government felled, finals week over, the great mystery solved. World Ending Game does not have mechanics for deciding big story outcomes. Instead, it offers a series of scenes and vignettes towards closure.–✵☼✵–Think about screenplays and films, or the final episode of a television show that you know will not be renewed. Think about saying goodbye to friends who are moving away. Think about the last day of summer vacation. Think about funerals. Think about the restaurant that closed all those years ago, and the noodles they used to serve. Think about the best birthday party you ever had. Think about putting off the last chapter of a book until tomorrow. Think about grief, and relief. Think about the end of a world. Think about the feeling of emerging from a movie theater into a dark parking lot, under the stars.

Sleepaway
In Sleepaway, you play as a camp counselor at a not-so-ordinary summer camp besieged by a Strange and ominous cryptid. Isolated from civilization, this summer camp is a beacon of safety, a refuge for misfit kids defined by their marginalization. The Lindworm is a shapeshifter, or so the stories go; a creature that flays the skin of humans and hides within. As counselors of this summer camp, you’ve each been traumatized by the Lindworm, in your own ways. You remember little of that time. Just that you don’t want anyone else to experience it either, and you’ll keep this camp safe no matter what. Sleepaway uses the diceless Belonging Outside Belonging system where everyone shares the role of facilitator and creates and interacts with the Setting Elements together. One player is responsible for channeling the Lindworm and draws from a deck of cards that cause an unsettling event to occur.

Dream Askew / Dream Apart (Hardcover)
Dream Askew and Dream Apart are beginner-friendly roleplaying games of Belonging Outside Belonging created by Avery Alder and Benjamin Rosenbaum. They give you tools to tell a story about marginalized people living together in precarious community. The games use a no dice, no masters system that emphasizes collaboration, shared ownership, and character-driven play. Published in duet, the book includes both games and a step-by-step guide to designing your own games of Belonging Outside Belonging. Build a community together, and then make trouble within it! In Dream Askew, that community is a queer enclave enduring the collapse of civilization. Ruined buildings and wet tarps, nervous faces in the campfire glow, strange new psychic powers, fierce queer love, and turbulent skies above a fledgling community, asking “What do you do next?” In Dream Apart, it’s a Jewish shtetl in a fantastical-historical Eastern Europe. Demons and wedding jesters; betrothals and pogroms; mystical ascensions and accusations of murder; the sounds of the shofar ringing through cramped and muddy streets, of cannon fire, of the wolf’s footfalls in the snowy pine forest; asking “What do you do next?”

One Page RPGs - Volume 06
In 2016, Grant Howitt decided – flippantly – to write a one-page roleplaying game every month and release it for free online. Little did he know that the barely-intelligible pen-and-ink scratches he turned out would go on to define his career, and the shape of roleplaying games, for years to come. Played by thousands of people all over the world, Grant’s one-page games run the gamut from strange to silly, daft to deadly serious, and powerfully original to potentially copyright-infringing. Each volume contains (at least!) 13 games in their original single-page format, complete with SECRET BACK PAGE material for every game that’s never been released online. Plus, where relevant, the longer games Grant and his collaborators have released are printed in full-colour, saddle-stitched booklets. Each game has been written, illustrated (sorry) and laid out entirely by Grant, unless someone else helped him, in which case it says so. As of 2024, all these volumes come in US Letter size, in a sturdy cardboard folder with a spine. These games (and their back pages) are: Board To Death: You’re trapped in a board game (any board game). Fight your way out before you’re murdered by the malevolent inhabitants. Back page: A Card Game. A card-based game about personal development and interpersonal tension. Knock Off Mascots: YOU are an unofficial mascot for your football team. For years now you’ve been in the shadow of the official mascot. You’ve had enough. You and your friends are going to murder them. THEN the club will take you seriously. Back page: Lists of official mascots to dethrone and examples of their absurd privilege. Fucked Up Little Man: A Dark Souls fan RPG where you play the weird NPCs who go “heh heh heh heh” at the end of every exchange. Back page: Covenants to devote your fucked up little life to, traits and professions to make you that little bit more fucked up and weird, and some more rules. Malign Inspiration: A cosmic horror metagame that you may already be playing and cannot opt out of. Back page: A list of failed roleplaying game ideas that coincidentally rhyme with Malign Inspiration. You’re welcome to them. Super Cool Monster Hunting Club: Adventurous children battle unseen monsters using improvised equipment. Involves a surprising amount of dress-up for a tabletop game. MÖRK BORG CULT: Ikhon
Forged by the left hand of Nechrubel, bound in cured skin and soot-black wood, the ancient god-vessels known as IKHONs are detested by the Two-Headed Basilisks. Wielding their Powers, unfettering the Profane Profound shackled within is a serious heretical crime and whoever may carry these blackened shrines will be forever hunted by the inquisition. But perhaps it is worth it. IKHON is a mystery box for MÖRK BORG. A gaol keeping four almost-forgotten folk gods at bay; the Bilkherd, the Becklure, the Old Dead and the dreaded Silkfiend. Those who dare commune with them are promised great rewards. But life and death go hand in hand and too small a sacrifice could be perceived as an insult. This gift could very well be a curse. Contents: Boxed set with rules on how to unfetter the Profane Profound. Four tracts, one for each god-creature, detailing their gifts and punishments. Written by Pelle Nilsson but torn apart and rebuilt in a stranger, darker form by Fiona Maeve Geist and Jarrett Crader of the MoonRat Conspiracy. Over 40 full-page illustrations by the masterful Paraguayan artist Samuel Araya, whose oil paintings will bring the Profane Profound to blasphemous life. MÖRK BORG is designed by Pelle Nilsson (Ockult Örtmästare Games) and Johan Nohr (Stockholm Kartell), published by Free League Publishing.
