Space Cadets: Away Missions
Space Cadets: Away Missions is a cooperative, scenario-based, tactical action game for 1-6 players, which is set in the Golden Age of science fiction. In this game, the third standalone title in the Space Cadets franchise of cooperative/team space-themed games from Stronghold Games, players take on the roles of adventurous human spacemen who explore UFOs, acquire Alien technology and fight hostile extraterrestrials. Each turn, spacemen have three action points to spend on activities such as firing their atomic rifles, analyzing exotic equipment, or subduing the malicious Brain-in-a-Jar. When the spacemen are finished, the aliens take their turns by following simple movement and combat protocols; seven types of hostile aliens threaten the players, from the repulsive mind leeches to the rampaging titanic sentinels. Space Cadets: Away Missions contains twenty scenarios linked in a campaign story. Each mission features different combinations of aliens on different spaceships, with hexagonal map tiles arranged to form flying saucers, rocket ships, space stations, etc. Cooperation, tactical planning and good dice are essential if the spacemen hope to overcome the relentless horde of little green men.

Fuji Koro
Japan Hosei 4 (1707). Mount Fuji is on the verge of erupting. Red hot lava will soon consume the three secret Seien-ji (???), sacred temples hidden deep in the bowels of the volcano. The Shogun is determined to preserve the precious heritage and sends his most noble and gifted samurai warriors on a quest inside the volcano to retrieve the valuable goods. After a grueling climb through snowstorms and treacherous rocky terrain the samurai find the entrance that leads down into the cavern. The volcano rumbles and the walls start shaking! The floor underneath their feet crumbles and our brave samurai fall into the huge cavern that contains the three temples, which are slowly sinking into the smoldering lava. It is now up to our heroes to explore the cavern and find as many of the relics, sacred scrolls, and monks as possible, to bring back safely to the Shogun before the volcano erupts and all is lost forever.Fuji Koro can be played in a competitive mode with 2 to 6 players or a cooperative mode with 1 to 6 players. Players will try and gather sacred scrolls and blueprints for magical weapons, gather resources, craft the best possible gear, and try to get out of the volcano before it fully erupts. To make matter worse, players will encounter fantastical dragons on their journey throughout the volcano, that they will have to try and defeat by themselves or with the help of other players. The game continues until the end phase of the game, which is triggered by one player reaching 30 victory points. Once that happens, players will have 8 final turns to escape the volcano. - Offers a competitive mode, 2-6 Players, or a cooperative mode, 1-6 players.- Craft weapons, helmets, sandals, with collected cube resources, to suit a battle or match patterns on scrolls to claim bonus and/or magical qualities.- End game is triggered when players pass a point threshold, then the volcano erupts, filling the game board with lava tiles, making it harder to achieve points in the few remaining turns.

This miniatures set is compatible with both Fallout: Wasteland Warfare and Fallout: Factions, as part of the Nuka World wave for Wasteland Warfare and Season One of Factions. ‘They say money makes the world go round, with the way Operators make money, it’s going to be an empty world.’ Without wanting to give them any props, the Operators are a well organised group, more like a crime syndicate than a raider gang. They follow orders, take on jobs, make their own gear and most of all, remain professional. Well armed and armored, Operators don’t kill for fun (unlike the other gangs of Nuka-World), they kill for profit, or out of annoyance, which is occasionally fun. I guess they also kill for fun.

Core Space: First Born – The Gates of Ry'sa
This expansion adds the ancient Gates of Ry’sa to the game in the form of some new terrain pieces along with some powerful new First Born threats – the Talos and the Cerberosa. The gates are housed in enormous caverns large enough for all manner of creatures to come through, and the shifting colours in the energy pylons make for an eye-catching centrepiece to your gaming table. New event cards shuffled into the deck will represent the reality-shifting nature of the nearby gate.There are three Cerberosa included in the set. These vicious beasts are deadly in close-assault and take advantage of the rules for poisoned attacks, further weakening their wounded victims. Cerberosa do not roll the Knowledge Die when they attack, instead coming with their own bespoke die. Its additional effects include crippling strikes that reduce your Skill pegs, frenzied attacks that target multiple opponents, and pure brute strength, adding further poisoned hits to their attacks.The Gates of Ry’sa includes two Talos. Like the Cerberosa the Talos rolls its own bespoke dice when attacking representing the physical effects of its powerful energy blasts. These include knocking opponents from their feet, instilling panic, and even setting their victims on fire! Talos are also very tough to kill. Getting through their rock-like armour a first time will only make them stumble – you’ll have to hit them again before they recover to permanently power them down.

Not many other Tribes would dare to try and take mountainous land from them. It would be far too dangerous. The Nimbus Tribes only take what they need, but when the temperature drops and food becomes scarce, they are forced to move further away from their mountains, into other Tribes’ land, conducting raids for equipment and resources. They communicate with other Tribes through similar eyestalk movements that have been observed before. Amongst themselves though, they communicate through a series of chirps, whistles and clicks. More recently, Darwin has observed them doing what can only be described as dancing. Jumping and gliding around Lumino Trees with their feathers ruffled and large flowers in their hands. He believes that it might be some form of Tribal dance to attract Nymphlets.Warfare: Nimbus Occulites are traditionally a little weaker in straight hand to hand combat due to their low bone density and as such adpot a more hit and run style of fighting. They like to swoop in and attack from above before making a quick get away. Nimbus Occulites have also been documented as grabbing things in their talons and dropping them onto the enemy or even picking up the enemy themselves! Tricky and fast, the Nimbus Occulites fight with a very different style to other sub-species. The Nimbus Tribes fashion axes from Snow Gum-like tree branches and chiseled stones, held fast by tight vines or reeds. Combined with a swooping charge, these axes can deliver a powerful force that makes the very rocks themselves tremble.Historical Notes: Nimbus are the fourth species of Occulite that was witnessed by Darwin. Early on when Charles Bruce first took Darwin to the Ridge, Darwin found the first Nimbus Occulite Tribe doing battle there. This Tribe had the Orange-bellied Parrot colouration and Darwin kept a close eye on it from then on, regularly visiting the location.
