The Encyclopedia of Monsters comes in 5 colourful Volumes - like a real encyclopedia - that represent the 5 Continents. Each Volume contains all the necessary components to visit that Continent’s 3 Countries. Each Country offers you new ways to play, with its own rules, challenges, and monsters. Find all the Monsters! On your turn, play a Monster card and use its Special Rule to try to find the corresponding token. If you successfully find that Monster, it stays visible; otherwise, a Candleis blown out, all the Monsters flip face-down again... and you start over, and try to remember where each one is hiding! This is not just a game! Each page you turn in your encyclopedia teaches you something about the customs or creatures of each Country you are visiting, sometimes even in the words of the people who live there. In this family game, Marie Curie's laboratory and help the famous scientist win her double Nobel Prize! Conduct experiments, improve your workshop and complete Marie Curie's research before the other players. In the Footsteps of Marie Curie is a game featuring resource management and transformation mechanics with a card river and contracts. Resources distribution (Pitchblende, Uranium, and Radium) is done through a cube tower, and the retention or overproduction of these brings a set of surprises each turn. Players progress on a central board through Marie Curie's life timeline. The game ends when players reach the end of this timeline. Players take turns, starting with the first player and then proceeding clockwise until the Timeline marker reaches the last space of the timeline. At that point, players complete the current round up to the last player and the game ends. The player with the most Victory Points (VP) wins the game.
