Lazy soldiers would do well to stay sharp when watch fires burn low, lest the Mind Thief come at night. When a mercenary takes payment in the form of live prisoners, it's no wonder they struggle to find welcome almost anywhere in the Iron Kingdoms - with a few notable exceptions. The Mind Thief's comfort with underground warrens, a pproduct of its cephalyx origins, proved most useful in seeking out Orgoth's entombed Deathless.
