Manifold TCG is a trading card and dice game with a new epic space fantasy IP.
The Launch Box provides everything a player needs to start playing, and is the suggested start point for all new players. It includes:
- Two new player starting decks.
- Four monocolored 45-card preconstructed decks
- The 40-page core rulebook
- A Manifold TCG dice set (80 dice)
- All the tokens and counters you may need for play.
These are sufficient components to support two players. After acquiring a Launch Box, players will only need new cards to continue their journey, which will be found in expansion packs.
Players will love Manifold because:
- TURNS ARE FAST PACED. Players alternate taking one action at a time, either playing cards, activating characters to roll dice, or resolving those dice.
- ELEGANT MARRIAGE OF CARDS AND DICE. Combining a small number of complex cards and a large number of simple dice creates a deep gameplay with simple options, and tremendous room to master probability and manipulate outcomes. The beginning of every round is like poker, and the end of every round is like chess.
- ASYMMETRICAL STARTING CONDITIONS. Your heroes determine details like your total health, amount of resources, and style of starting effects. This gives you a great opportunity for self-expression through hero selection.
- NO ‘NON-GAMES’. Resources are created from outside the deck, and heroes start in play, resulting in players making progress toward their goals every round. Players are never locked out, and are always having fun.
Gameplay is typically head-to-head, although 3 and 4 player variants exist. Players start with a team of heroes, and the goal of the game is to defeat your opponent’s heroes before they defeat yours.
