Buy/Sell/Trade Policy
Buy/Sell/Trade (BST) is welcome on-site at all times.
Let’s talk about why:
- We don’t want people meeting in parking lots, alleys, or strangers’ cars. This is a family-friendly community space.
- Doing BST inside a Gamers Guild location puts it on camera, keeps it around staff, and in the presence of others in the community. That reduces most of the serious risks that come with private deals.
- Some stores disallow BST because they see it as a business conflict. We don’t see it that way. We think community comes first.
That said, we are NOT responsible for your trades—you are.
If you'd like help with pricing, authentication, or anything else, ask a staff member or stop by the card counter. We do offer BST support services, usually for a 5% fee, so please be respectful of staff time. We do have loups on hand at all card stations.
Absolutely NO trading with minors unless a parent is explicitly involved—every single time.
Any attempt to buy/sell/trade fake or counterfeit cards can result in a permanent ban—even if you didn’t realize the cards were fake. It’s your responsibility to know what you’re trading.
Vendors (sometimes known as "backpack dealers") are NOT permitted on-site, other than during our Quarterly Grand Exchange as a registered Vendor.
- If you're engaging in high-volume or dealer-like behavior, staff will make that call—and it is NOT a matter for discussion or debate.
- We will NOT clarify the distinction on request. It’s not a topic to be rules-lawyered. If you're doing BST for personal play/use and not profit or business, and interacting with you feels that way, you generally won’t have an issue.
- We’ll ask you to leave on a first offense; a second can result in a permanent ban.
If you have questions or concerns, please email customerservice@gamersguildusa.com or use the #create-ticket feature in our Discord server to reach our team directly.
Thanks for helping us keep this community safe, fun, and respectful for everyone.
