Reforest is a medium-complexity card game with light engine-building elements where players compete by arranging synergistic tableaus of plants. Each plant played has unique traits and abilities and will help attract animal visitors. On your turn, you'll choose one of two actions: gather plants or play a plant. Each introduced plant has specific growing conditions and contributes to a growing ecosystem of interconnected abilities. Space is limited, but taller plants can be grown over pioneer species at a reduced cost. At the end of each round (when the plant deck is emptied), an animal visitor card will be earned by the player who's plants best matched the visitor's habitat preferences (most flowers / fruit / etc). The game ends when all visitors have found a home. Each player's forest is scored for the value of their plants and for the visitors they host. It can be combined with Reforest: Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast or played as a standalone game. New elements introduced in this expansion include:- Old growth trees than can reveal previously covered effects and regenerate stored plants.- Parasitic plants that can be played freely but feed off of existing plants.- Terrain cards that offer growing benefits to your elevation rows. Reforest: Old Growth adds complexity. New players should begin with the original game; Reforest: Plants of the Pacific Northwest Coast.

It is extremely unstable and could self-destruct at any moment. In Living Planet, players lead their corporation in the exploitation of MYC.14.250. They spend actions exploring the planet, constructing buildings, and extracting minerals from the planet’s core. Just like the planet, the economy is unstable and players will have to keep their eye on the fluctuating stock markets to make the most money. Competition will occur as players battle over resources in the last days of a deteriorating planet.
