      Motor City is a strategic roll-and-write game about running an auto plant in the heyday of Detroit. In Motor City, you have two player sheets, each with multiple areas. These areas are represented by tracks that you will mark off as you make progress. Many of the tracks are interconnected with other elements in the game, giving you bonuses along the way and opportunities to unlock more points. Advancing on all of these tracks offers various amounts of points, advancements, and bonuses. The game lasts eight rounds. Each round, roll colored dice based on the number of players, then place them on spaces on the blueprint table based on value and color. Each player drafts one die and uses it. Once everyone has drafted a die twice, all players get to use the remaining die on the blueprint table. After eight rounds, you score points for your progress in engineering, assembly, testing, and more. Whoever has the most points wins. Motor City has a solo mode in which you try to top your own score against an auditor that drafts dice and blocks areas of your sheet. Its difficulty can easily be adjusted by changing the colors of dice during setup, with no added rules. Motor City is game 3 of the Motor City Gameworks Loaded Roll and Write series.     In Nestlings, players assume the role of birds competing to gain priority across four biomes: savannah, alpine, freshwater, and desert. Each round, players roll their biome dice, then place the dice in biomes one at a time, alternating in clockwise order. Once players have placed all their dice or have chosen to pass for the round, each biome is resolved. The player who first placed dice in a particular biome gains priority and reaps the rewards of doing so: selecting a resource first, and discarding a resource to thwart their opponents' plans. However, if another player places more of their biome dice in that same biome, that player gains priority. Once priority order has been established for the biome, players each claim resources to feed their nestlings and gain the matching segment to add to their resource ring on their player board. Once all biomes have been resolved including the wild grasslands biome in the center of the board players score points based on how many nestlings they fed and how many segments are in their resource ring, regardless of which round they were assigned. As the game progresses, the tension rises as players must make key decisions along the way, decisions that could secure victory or usher in defeat. Will they feed their nestlings for more immediate points, or take a different resource to complete a section of their resource ring, thus earning a bonus and triggering a powerful chain reaction? Will they use in-game currency to activate another end-of-game nest goal or save it for victory points? Will they place a second die to secure priority or risk it and head to another biome to take other much-needed scraps? At the conclusion of round four, the game ends and players reveal their endgame nest goals and tally their points.     Guild Master is a fantasy tabletop game for 2-4 players. Players manage an adventuring guild, competing with each other to become the most famous guild as an escalating series of events threaten the land. In each of the nine rounds, players simultaneously and secretly program orders to send teams of adventurers out to do the following: Recruit more adventurers. Attempt increasingly difficult contracts to gain money, fame and other rewards. Hire builders to upgrade their guild to increase their capacity to do all of that more. All players then sequentially resolve their planned orders, starting with each players' 1st order, then 2nd order and so on, and in the order they appear on the board (builders, then adventurers A-F then contracts 1-6). Players plan and program orders carefully around other players' likely moves, various strategies, risks, and rewards. They manage their guilds' growth and optimize combinations between their adventurer abilities and contract rewards to achieve their goals. As the game advances, guilds become more powerful and must rise to meet an increasing number of game state changing threats. Recruiting increasingly powerful adventurers and upgrading your guild capacity are both key to victory. There are various ways to exert control over the board, your dice rolls, and your chances to get what you want. Most orders are resolved by paying coin or rolling dice based on your adventurers' skills. Cards can work together in unique ways.  For example, near the end of the game, you have learned a 2-point card is at the bottom of a particular deck, and it’s all you need to win.  You don’t have a “bottom feeder” card, but you do have 2 “hideways” and one “transport”.  You hideaway two main deck cards (bringing your 2-pointer closer to the top), followed by transporting the next card to another deck.  Voila, you’re ready to roll for the 2-pointer and the win.
