Kitchen Rush
You've just inherited an old restaurant and you must turn it into a successful business! Hire personnel, order the right ingredients and be ready to serve the customers that enter your restaurant. The success will depend entirely on your efficiency in the kitchen! Kitchen Rush is an innovative real-time cooperative game that simulates the excitement of a high-pressure kitchen environment. It does so through worker placement, using hourglasses as your workers. These hourglasses are used to take orders from customers, prepare their dishes, serve them on time, buy groceries, clean plates and make sure enough money is made each round to cover wages, expenses, upgrades and hopefully, leave a profit. Any worker placed on an action space may not be used elsewhere before the sand within the hourglass runs out, making each decision important as time is limited. The game is for 1-4 players and plays for 4 rounds of 4 minutes. The fun, excitement and rush it brings to the table offers a full course for gamers and family members alike.

Clinic: Deluxe Edition - Biohazard
To conclude the Clinic: Deluxe Edition series, I wanted to focus on the disposal and recycling of all the refuse produced when patients are treated. This final, lone expansion is compatible with all expansions, because it merely depends on having nurses and orderlies, which are part of the base game! If you can include Janitors from The Extension, you can experience my full vision. I know the janitors already have a lot of challenging work, but as CEO of my own game, I am now adding a new role to their job description: They must tend to biohazards!

Kitchen Rush: Piece of Cake
Dinner has been served and now it is time for dessert! New orders come in for delicious cakes, tasty pies and exquisite ice-creams. However, preparing a dessert properly and on time requires even more attention than a regular order and is definitely no piece of cake! Kitchen Rush: Piece of Cake is an expansion for the cooperative, real-time game, Kitchen Rush (Golden Geek Award Nominee for Best Cooperative Game of the Year 2018, Seal of Excellence from the Dice Tower), which introduces desserts in the game. It adds a new type of order with desserts, Ice-Cream mini orders, two new Ingredients (Crème and Fruit with custom shaped wooden tokens) and a new type of token (ice cream scoops). An extension to the game's board introduces additional actions for the players and there is also a 60 second hourglass for a Specialist worker who can perform improved versions of the available actions. Kitchen Rush: Piece of Cake brings many new elements to this already great game! The game is for 1-4 players and plays for 4 rounds of 4 minutes. The fun, excitement and rush it brings to the table offers a full course for gamers and family members alike.

That is what you can find in this latest offering. You will encounter smoking in your clinic, you’ll take a helicopter ride, you’ll avoid ghosts and dog poop, and shrill fire truck sirens will brutalize your ears. Perhaps you will even comply with the new construction guidelines proposed by the mayor’s new team. Should you grab a last-minute gift from the gift shop to cheer up a psychiatric patient? Above all, you should keep a close eye on the temps, and carefully monitor this new “air conditioning” system. We wouldn’t want anyone to have an accident, would we?

Clinic: Deluxe Edition – 2nd Extension adds 13 expansions and 1 variant to Clinic: Deluxe Edition, including the following: Stretcher Bearers New Appointments Round VII New Special Modules Pediatrics Coffeemaker CEO Events Medical Scanner Morgue Beds Surgeon Secretaries Variant 1: Greater Demand From the game introductionJust as you are finishing a tricky game of Clinic Deluxe Edition, including 6 expansions of The Extension, against your best friends on a Saturday evening, you learn by listening to HeavyCardboard.com, your favorite podcast, that the designer of the game, Alban Viard, has just announced the release of a new salvo of expansions. It contains no fewer than 13 expansions, obviously all compatible and combinable with each other (except where specified otherwise in the rules). You immediately rush to find a copy, which you unearth via your favorite shop or Kickstarter. You start reading the rules, again asking yourself how to integrate all these new parameters, which would raise your Clinic experience to a level of realism never seen before. You stare groggily for a moment, your gaze swimming vertiginously in the face of this rulebook and its administrative twists and turns, produced by the convolutions of the designer’s brain. Is this even still a game, or will it end up as demanding as a hard day at the office? That’s for you to say….

Clinic: Deluxe Edition - 5th Extension
Occasionally, I’ve heard it said that some players build their clinic nearly the same way every time, and that the construction part of the game lacks variety. So, in The Extension, I added Urban Design 1.0 to require different floor plans, and Underground Utility Work to reduce the available space and to resize and reconfigure your player boards however you want. Then, in the 3rd Extension, I added Urban Design 2.0. But still… you have all become veterans of all of these obstacles, and now you need more! So, I offer you new layouts for the ground floor, and a new series of double tiles, which should not only accelerate development of your clinic, but also allow you to play on these more difficult floors — plenty to get you out of your rut!
