Aetherspire
Aetherspire is a cooperative 3D tile placement and tower defense game for 1-4 players. You and your companions will take on the role of Elementis heroes, working together to mold elemental power into four spires, one of each element: earth, air, fire, and water. A spire is a set of four floor tiles, one on top of another, all of the same element. Each time you complete a spire, that element’s aether fiend is defeated. Once all four aether fiends have been defeated, the heroes share in glorious victory, having restored balance to the realm of Elementis!However, if the precious aethercore is depleted, or if you take too long to defeat the aether fiends, then the heroes lose the game, and chaos will overtake your world! In each game of French Toast, one player acts as the Toastmaster, drawing a Secret Word that you and your friends have to guess. The catch? The Toastmaster may only communicate by repeating your guesses back to you! Each time someone makes a guess, the Toastmaster must decide whether that guess is “closer” to their Secret Word than the “closest” previous guess. If the new guess is closer, the Toastmaster repeats it back to you. If the new guess isn’t closer, the Toastmaster repeats the closest previous guess instead. Keep making clever guesses to get closer and closer to the Secret Word, until you can guess the Secret Word itself! What makes one guess “closer” to the Secret Word than another? Sasquatch wants to be left alone and will thus do anything he can to keep pesky humans out of his woods — including undermining trail construction. If there is a Sasquatch in the game, then the other players (humans) want to find him! How to Play: Deal out the secret identity cards. All players are humans, but one player might secretly be Sasquatch. On your turn: Play 1 trail card, discard the other facedown into a discard row of your choice. Then draw back up to 2 trail cards. If you are Human: Cooperate together to build hiking, biking, and kayaking loops through new hybrid camps to maximize your points… and keep an eye out for the sneaky Sasquatch.
