Azure
In Azure, players position their stones to gather qi (cards) and wisdom (points) from the realm. They also compete to bring the Auspicious Beasts to their aid. The first player to reach the end of the path of wisdom wins. Players take turns placing a stone, gathering boons from the space they cover, and gaining the favor of Auspicious Beasts. In order to place a stone in a space, the player must be able to pay the qi cost. The color of the domain (board) tells you the color of qi needed, and the number of boon symbols in the space tells you the amount of qi needed. Through careful management of the qi cards in your hand, you'll be able to grow in power. Thanks to the four double-sided boards that can be connected, flipped, and oriented in any way in a 2×2 grid, Azure features over 10,000 different layouts. No one can remember when the Empire's regime began. People say it will never end, that resistance is impossible... but no one has ever prepared like the Rebellion. In Unrest, two players are pitted head-to-head in the asymmetric struggle for control over five City Districts. On the Rebellion's turn they select 2 adjacent City Districts, then play 3 total cards: 2 face down and 1 face up. The Empire then gets a chance to use 2 of their Power Tokens. Afterwards the Rebellion gets to distribute their cards to the 2 chosen City Districts. Once they liberate 3 City Districts by completing any of the Mission Objectives, they win. However, if the Empire runs the Rebellion's deck empty, then they win.

Le Chocolat (Pre-Order)

Mix up the 36 chocolate tiles and arrange them into a grid. On your turn, split the chocolate into two chunks along a straight line. If there is ever a chunk of three or fewer tiles left at the end of a player's turn, they'll claim that chunk. Continue playing until all chocolate has been claimed. Then, score based on the rules of the scoring card (that changes every play). Did you get the best pieces, while avoiding negative ingredients? Most points wins! An extremely clever take on the "I split, you choose" mechanic where you will split the chocolate back and forth until a certain size or configuration is created upon which the chunk can be collected.
