Black Friday - Turbo Dork: Metallic Acrylic Paint: Murple (20ML Bottle)
It is what it is ... A de-saturated purple with a hint of gold undertone to warm it back up. It is recommended that Murple be used with a black undercoat. Turbo Dork paints are made of a mixture of pigments suspended in an acrylic medium plus additives that make them fast-drying, water-soluble when wet, and water-resistant when dry. The Metallics contain pigments and small mica flakes that create a sparkling effect on the paint surface making it look like metal. Formulated for airbrush use, but may also be hand brushed.

Vallejo: 69.814 Mecha Weathering: Fuel Stains
New formula acrylic colors with a satin finish, extra resistant and impact proof especially designed for airbrushing surfaces exposed to aggressive manipulation. The advanced formulation contains a revolutionary component which guarantees exceptional adherence on even the most difficult surfaces, and offers great resistance to rough handling, impact, friction, scratches, etc. Once dry, the Mecha surface looks the same as the original plastic of the model, while yet the smallest details of the original remain clearly visible. The color range includes primers as well as special varnishes – also with an exclusive formulation- and a series of colors for aging and weathering effects. It is recommended to apply the Mecha colors in several layers on the previously primed surface; a few hours after application the colors will have dried to form a homogenous coating of extraordinary strength and resistance. Mecha Color can be airbrushed directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver, and the colors can also be applied by brush. The compressor adjustment recommended is 15 – 20 PSI o 0.5 to 1 kg. For best airbrush maintenance we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner. Shake and apply directly from the bottle with a moist flat brush. This ocher filter allows us to change subtly the base tone of woods or light browns making it more accurate and authentic color. At the same time, the filter adds depth and richness to our vehicle, preparing it for the next paint steps. Use the filters by moistening a brush and applying it without flooding the surface, to enrich hues in your models, unify camouflage, or highlight areas with a different tone. With these products we will avoid mixing paints, looking for the correct dilution, or searching for the correct colors for our vehicle. These filters are enamel based and can be cleaned or diluted with Odorless Enamel Thinner.

Enamel type streaking for modelling.A unique Streaking Grime effect specifically designed for vehicles painted in a tri-color camouflage scheme like those used by NATO but can be used in any vehicle. Create realistic streaks and rainmarks with this light colored enamel effect. Shake well before use. Apply your streak with a fine pointed brush in irregular vertical lines from lower parts on sides and let the paint dry for about 10 minutes. Next take a flat brush moisted in White Spirit and swipe with little pressure over the earlier applied streak to soften the effect and create a natural look.
