Clinic: Deluxe Edition - Biohazard
To conclude the Clinic: Deluxe Edition series, I wanted to focus on the disposal and recycling of all the refuse produced when patients are treated. This final, lone expansion is compatible with all expansions, because it merely depends on having nurses and orderlies, which are part of the base game! If you can include Janitors from The Extension, you can experience my full vision. I know the janitors already have a lot of challenging work, but as CEO of my own game, I am now adding a new role to their job description: They must tend to biohazards!

Survive Peak Oil!Peak Oil is approaching and, as the president of a major oil company, you need to find a way to keep your company afloat! To do this, you’ll have to extract the last reserves of black-gold to raise the money needed to invest in the new technologies that are sure to soon replace oil. Of course, you’ll attempt to survive this crisis using legal means, but the competition won’t be so honorable. So maybe you’ll have to get your hands dirty as well….On your turn in Peak Oil, you assign your agents to different action spots on the board. If your agents are in the majority at any given action spot, or you decide to send mercenaries to their help, they squelch the competition - allowing you to take the action. Actions include: developing and harvesting oil fields, building pipelines, hiring new agents, buying new ship contracts, investing in oil replacement technologies, conducting PR campaigns, engaging in piracy, and manipulating public opinion and oil prices.The oil — small barrels that you draw from a bag when developing new oil fields — will run out. This is called "peak oil" and marks the end of the game. Players tally the value of the technologies in which they invested and supported during the game. Whoever shaped the future best (i.e. gained the most favor for their company) wins.

Unfortunately, just before groundbreaking, your differing views of the ideal clinic cause a schism between you, and you go your separate ways, with patients already lining up in pre-admissions. Each of you decides to build the clinic of your dreams, trying to hire doctors, nurses, and maintenance staff, and build new modules, specialized services, and even parking, in order to meet the needs of the patients ailing in pre-admissions.

This Clinic: Deluxe Edition – Campaign Book provides 3 campaign modes to address all experience levels, and all of which are designed for 1 – 4 players: The Thematic Campaigns: Each of these campaigns facilitates learning the rules of the myriad expansions. The expansions are gathered into 5 main themes, and each theme is a separate campaign. Each scenario of a campaign introduces the expansions gradually (but cumulatively), easing the learning curve. The Medium Campaign: 8 scenarios, each of which combines a cross-section of 5 expansions from the 5 themes defined in the Thematic Campaigns. Clinic: Deluxe Edition - 5th Extension
Occasionally, I’ve heard it said that some players build their clinic nearly the same way every time, and that the construction part of the game lacks variety. So, in The Extension, I added Urban Design 1.0 to require different floor plans, and Underground Utility Work to reduce the available space and to resize and reconfigure your player boards however you want. Then, in the 3rd Extension, I added Urban Design 2.0. But still… you have all become veterans of all of these obstacles, and now you need more! So, I offer you new layouts for the ground floor, and a new series of double tiles, which should not only accelerate development of your clinic, but also allow you to play on these more difficult floors — plenty to get you out of your rut!

You start reading the rules, again asking yourself how to integrate all these new parameters, which would raise your Clinic experience to a level of realism never seen before. You stare groggily for a moment, your gaze swimming vertiginously in the face of this rulebook and its administrative twists and turns, produced by the convolutions of the designer’s brain. Is this even still a game, or will it end up as demanding as a hard day at the office? That’s for you to say….
