The Red Dragon Inn 8: Pub Crawl!
What do our heroes do when the same four tavern walls are getting a little dull? They go on a Pub Crawl! A new standalone expansion to the award-winning series! Our illustrious heroes have spent many an hour (and many a coin!) at Greyport's legendary tavern, the The Red Dragon Inn. But even the most loyal customers want a change in scenery once in a while. So what do our heroes do when the same four tavern walls are getting a little dull? Pub crawl! The The Red Dragon Inn 8 introduces five new characters—the proprietors of five brand new taverns, plus a new play variant where players can travel around to multiple taverns rather than staying at the The Red Dragon Inn. The The Red Dragon Inn characters bar hop to other taverns and inns of the town (The Black Dragon Depths, The Harmonious Cup, Lucky's Rolling Barrel, The Scurvy Dog, Startusk's), discovering new drinks and characters (the tavern owners: Father Farai, Lucky the Scofflaw, Nerodia the Petrifier, Phyll Startusk, Samantha the Bookie). Each pub adds its own twist to the rules. Whenever a player reveals a Drink that includes one or more Chasers, the party pawn moves to a different open tavern after the Drink and any other pending effects are finished. Each tavern has an event that is triggered as the party arrives there. It also has its own Drink deck, and once that is exhausted, the tavern closes. The party crawls back to the The Red Dragon Inn only once all other taverns have closed.

Natyli is a impulsive young troll who likes to make dolls of her friends and the monsters that she comes across in the dungeons. These aren't normal dolls, though. They are magical, and she can use them to affect whomever the doll looks like, for good or ill. After foolishly using her dolls to prank the village elders, her uncle, Brewmaster Phrenk, decided that she'd probably be better off with his adventuring friends, where at least they could prank her back. Ohava, the Grand Cleric: Ohava has been the matron of the Great Temple of Greyport for longer than some of our heroes have been alive. Among her duties are healing, miracle work, team-building exercises, and earning the All-Mother's blessings by trying to keep all four of the Great Divines in harmony with one another. The Good: The blessings of the All-Mother are a powerful incentive to Ohava's good works. The Bad: Getting four fickle deities to agree on anything takes a LOT of convincing. Murgath the Blessed: We all know the story of the adventurer who has the misfortuyne of being stuck with a cursed item. But what about the villain who is stuck with a blessed item? Murgath is a vile, ruthless Blackguard who can't get rid of the holy sword Banefall. Banefall does everything in her power to stay Murgath's hand and interfere with his evil plans. She can’t completely stop him, but she can give her blessings to those unfortunate targets of his wrath. The Bad: Murgath is a fearsome enemy. The Worse: He is this powerful even with Banefall holding him back!

So now everyone’s joining a guild, learning a craft, and working on a masterpiece – a painting so beautiful it blinds you, or a cheese grater so amazing that you never eat cheese again. The only people left tilling the fields are the ones doing it ironically. The guilds cover everything – ironic tilling, butchering, baking, candlestick making, shoemaking, cheesemaking, cheese destruction.
