Umami
Fire up your stalls under a full moon in a rustling forest! Ramen, takoyaki, miso soup, and more sizzle as you race to serve dishes packed with umami — that savory taste that makes mouths water and crowds gather. In Umami, you will whip up the tastiest dishes possible of just three ingredients each. Spot a better bite? "Borrow" it off a rival's plate! Forest denizens have special tastes, so match your ingredients to their appetites to win them over! In more detail, start with four ingredient cards in hand; ingredients range from 1-9, with each card also having a star, steal, or blossom icon. Four ingredient cards are in a face-up market. Each player has a secret "favorite" card, with four favorites in a face-up market; each favorite shows three cards that make up the dish they want, e.g., two medium (4-6) and a high (7-9), with the highest total possible. On a turn, play one ingredient from your hand and another from the market, creating over time at most five dishes of three cards each. (You can replace a card in a dish, if desired.) Once per turn, you can discard a card with a steal icon to take an opponent's ingredient and add it to your dish; they draw and play a replacement card. As soon as you qualify for a favorite on display, place it in front of that dish, which keeps others from stealing your ingredients...although they can still steal the favorite by having a dish that better meets their tastes or has more blossoms in it. When the last favorite is claimed or someone has a full table, everyone reveals their secret favorite, then run through one more round, after which the player with the most stars — summed from ingredients played and favorites claimed — wins.

Koinobori
Welcome to the fascinating world of koinobori! Immerse yourself in this experience as you explore the beauty and tradition of colorful Japanese kites. In this game, you'll have the opportunity to design and customize your own koinobori mast and embark on a journey through Japanese culture. Are you ready to elevate your dreams like the koinobori do in the sky? In the game, each player will have their own personal mast, and in the center of the table will be the festival masts, one more than the number of players in the game. There will also be a row of koinobori cards on the table for players to draw from. During a player's turn, they can choose one of these three options: Place a koinobori card on the festival masts: Play a koinobori card on one of the masts. At the end of the game and on each mast, only the color of the koinobori with the most presence on that mast will score points. Place a koinobori card on their personal mast: Play koinobori cards face down on your mast. Each card on your mast will improve your abilities. Be aware that the koinobori you place on your mast will determine your score. Draw koinobori cards: Take a card from the ends of the row of koinobori on the table. Improving your abilities will allow you to draw two cards or not just from the ends. The game ends when the festival masts are completed, and at that point, the scoring phase begins. Within each mast, it is determined which color of koinobori is most repeated, and each player will earn a number of points equal to the multiplication of the number of koinobori on their personal mast by the number of koinobori on the festival mast. The player with the highest score will be the winner Ages 8+2-5 Players30 minute Playtime

Money!
Your goal in Money! is to trade currencies with the bank and other players so that you end up with more value than anyone else. Each player starts with a hand of six cards from a deck that contains cards in seven currencies ranging in value from 20-60, along with coins worth 10. Four cards from the deck are placed face up to its left and to its right. In a round, each player chooses a bid of one or more cards from their hand, then everyone reveals their bid simultaneously. Whoever bid the highest sum takes the four cards to the left or right of the deck or another player's bid, adds these cards to their hand, then places their bid next to the deck or in front of the player whose bid they took. (Alternatively, the player can return their bid to hand.) Then the next player with the highest bid resolves their bid similarly. Once all players have resolved their bids, draw cards from the deck to refill the lots to the left and right of the deck to four cards. When the deck runs out, play one final round, then score your cards in hand. If you have 200 or more in a single currency, score that many points. If you have less than 200 in a currency, subtract 100 from that amount but don't go below 0. If you have all three 20s or 30s in a currency, score 100 points in addition to whatever the currency itself scores for you. Sum these amounts, along with whatever coins you have in hand. The Dwarf King
The Dwarf King (Le Roi des Nains) is a trick-taking game played with a deck of 53 cards: three suits (Dwarves, Goblins and Knights) of thirteen cards each and fourteen special cards. The game also includes twenty contract tiles. The game is played over seven rounds. At the start of a round, the dealer randomly draws one special card, reads it to all the players, shuffles it into the deck, then deals the deck out evenly to all players. (The dealer for the first round is the game's owner; for subsequent rounds, the dealer is the one who took the 5 of Dwarves in the previous round.) The player who receives the 5 of Knights draws a contract tile, reads it, then chooses one of the two scoring rules on it to apply for that round. The player holding the 5 of Goblins leads on the first trick. Players must follow suit if possible, and the game includes no trump. The highest card played of the suit led wins the trick and leads to the next trick. Once all cards have been played, players tally their points (possibly negative), remove the special card and contract tile from the game, then shuffle for the next round. The player who scores the most points over seven rounds wins the game.

High Society
In Reiner Knizia's High Society, players bid against each other to acquire the various trappings of wealth (positive-number and multiplier cards) while avoiding its pitfalls (negative number and divisor cards). While bidding, though, keep an eye on your remaining cash - at the end of the game, even though all those positive-number cards might add up to a win, the player with the least money isn't even considered for victory. Gorgeously reimagined with illustration from Marie Bergeron. Rejuvenated version of the classic Reiner Knizia auction game with never before seen cards. Incredibly easy to learn but challenging to master the balance between oppulance and reasonable spending. Clever scoring mechanics leave you wondering right up until the last card is counted. Contents: 19 Status Cards, 55 Money Card, 5 Player Aids

Potato Man
Potato Man is a trick-taking game with the largely unused theme of potatoes in which you can sometimes achieve the highest scores with the smallest potatoes. After dealing the cards out, players each play one card to the center of the table to form the "trick" but each of the four colors can be played only once. (The exception: In a five-player game, one color can be played twice.) Whoever plays the highest card wins the trick except that the three least valuable cards in the game (1, 2, 3 of yellow) win the trick if one of the three most valuable cards in the game (16, 17, 18 of red) is present. Whoever wins a trick leads to the next trick. Each color has its own small deck of scoring cards, and when a player wins a trick, he takes a scoring card of the corresponding color. The red color, for example, has highest playing cards on average (cards 5-18, compared to yellow 1-13), but least valued scoring cards for a trick. However, once three tricks are taken with the same color, the scoring cards of that color are depleted and players take golden "joker" scoring cards, worth the most points. Therefore you might want to keep high cards of a frequently winning color in your hand in order to maximize your points but the round ends as soon as a player cannot play a card due to the restrictions on which cards can be played in a given trick. Players tally their points, then begin a new round, with the game lasting as many rounds as the number of players. In the end, whoever tallies the most points wins!
