Ra is an auction and set-collection game with an Ancient Egyptian theme. Each turn players are able to purchase lots of tiles with their bidding tiles (suns). Once a player has used up his or her suns, the other players continue until they do likewise, which may set up a situation with a single uncontested player bidding on tiles before the end of the round occurs. Tension builds because the round may end before all players have had a chance to win their three lots for the epoch. The various tiles either give immediate points, prevent negative points for not having certain types at the end of the round (epoch), or give points after the final round. Rabbit Rabbit: A Game of Superstitions
A magical 350-card trivia game for 1-10 players collecting superstitions, myths, spells, folklore, and more- old and new, from around the world. The goal of Rabbit Rabbit is to be the first to collect seven cards by answering questions correctly, and play starts with the person whose birthday is closest to the current date. In clockwise order, players take turns answering question cards pulled from the top of the deck by the person to their right, taking care to keep the answer hidden. If the player answers it correctly, they keep the card. If they don't, it's discarded. When you win your sixth card and are one card away from winning, you must say "Rabbit Rabbit" out loud. Rafter Five
In Rafter Five, you and your fellow players want to build as large a raft as possible — but you want to end up being the only one who can board it. To start, stack the box top and bottom to create a base, then place the five wooden rafter pieces on the starting card on top of the base. On a turn, lift a rafter, place a raft card on the playing area, replace the rafter, then place one of your treasure chests somewhere on the raft...ideally in a precarious position because if someone else knocks off this chest, they must keep it in their hold. If a player collects five treasure chests owned by other players in their hold, they're out of the game! (You can knock off your own chests without penalty, but you're making the game easier for everyone else.)

Ragusa
Set in the legendary city of Ragusa (now Dubrovnik), Ragusa charges players with the task of building the city in the 15th century, constructing its great towers, boosting trade with the East, and finding their fortunes. Players build houses on the spaces between three hexes, gaining access to resources (on rural spaces) and actions (in the city), which means that a house effectively functions as a worker being placed, but triggering three spots at a time. Players use resources gained in the countryside to build buildings, trade, and craft valuable commodities — the value of which varies as ships come and go from the harbor. In the city, players gain access to actions, with each spot representing the three actions that surround it. This simple worker placement gives way to a deep engine-building mechanism as not only will building around production spaces utilize the houses you've already built in the countryside, but building near other player's houses will re-activate them, giving other players valuable opportunities outside of their turns. The game ends once players have placed all their houses. The player with the most points from all sources wins.

In Raiders of the North Sea: Fields of Fame, enemy jarls have joined forces to help defend against the onslaught of raids on their settlements. But despite their threats, there is fame awaiting those who seek to kill or subdue them. Encountering a jarl is sure to bring injury, but now is no time for the faint-hearted. Onwards to the battlefield! Fields of Fame brings a new dynamic into the game with the addition of Jarl tokens being mixed in with the Plunder and Valkyrie. Railroad Tiles, a sequel to the roll-and-write series Railroad Ink, is a quick-playing tile placement game in which you pick tiles and place routes to build an interconnected community. The game is played over eight rounds. You start each round by drafting your tiles from the sets available in the common pool, then you place your routes in front of you, trying to make as many connections as possible; be careful not to lock yourself in with choices that are too constraining. Each round, you can also place cars, trains, or travelers to populate the tiny little landscape you're creating...as long as you have free space on your tiles. The available actions change from round to round, so you need to prepare in advance! The more pieces of the same kind each new placement connects to, the more points you earn. Railroad Tiles: Desert Expansion
Your goal is to create a Desert surrounding your regular tiles, placing Desert Attractions of the different types (Oasis, Pyramid, Sphynx, and Obelisk), connecting them to your regular routes through Desert Stations, and placing Camels to bring people seeing the attractions and gain a few extra points as well. There's a special rule to follow when placing tiles in this expansion: When you place the first Desert tile of the game, it can be placed freely. All following tiles (either regular or Desert) must be placed so that at least 1 side is connected to a tile of the same kind. Desert tiles feature regular Car and Traveler pin points, but they lack Train pin points. In their place, they feature Camel pin points. You can use a Train Placement token to place a Camel on such a pin point, instead of placing a Train pawn. Desert tiles also feature Desert Trails: these are special routes that can be connected to both Highways and Railways: when you do, you place a Desert Station on the joining point token to mark the connection. Desert Stations are important for the scoring of both Desert Attractions and Camels. When you place a Camel, you score 1 point for each Desert Station it connects to. Additionally, at the end of the game you gain points for your sets of different Desert Attractions that are connected to at least 1 Desert Station: 1 point for a singl Attraction, 3 points for 2 different Attractions, 6 points for 3, and 10 points for full sets of 4 different Attractions (the same Attraction can't be part of different sets, of course, but the Attractions of a set don't need to be connected to the same Desert Station nor to each other). Unsurprisingly, the Desert Expansion also comes with a few Objectives: for example, the Desert Market must be part of a route with at least 5 connected Desert Trail segments, while the Great Oasis must be surrounded by at least 4 Desert tiles... but it also counts as an Oasis Attraction!

Railroad Tiles: Energy Expansion
Your goal is to create a power grid by building Wind Turbines and using Energy Cables to connect them to Town tiles and bring them energy. Wind Turbines have their own pin points, and can be placed by using any Placement token as a wild card, instead of placing the corresponding standard pawn, like gondolas in the Canals Expansion and Lookout Towers in the Forest Expansion. You will need to use Energy Cables to connect the Wind Turbines you have built to the Town tiles you placed. Energy Cables can be thought of as an additional kind of "route"... but they have a peculiarity: they don't run across the middle of the sides of tiles, like railways and highways, but rather across their corners. This adds a whole new layer to your strategies, because while managing the network of cables can complicate things for you, bringing one to the right corner can allow you to connect three tiles to the power grid in one go! Wind Turbines don't score any point when you build them, but at the end of the game, each of your Town tiles scores 1 point for each 2 Wind Turbines it is connected to. Placing Town tiles smartly and sending Energy Cables to the right corners in order to maximize the Town tiles powered by the least amount of cables is the key to score a lot of points. Additionally, the Energy Expansion comes with a few Objectives as well: for example, the Solar Farm want to be connected to Energy Cables on all 4 corners, while the Casino must have at least 2 electrified Town tiles around it.

Railroad Tiles: Forest Expansion
Forest is one of the Expansion marked with "Easy" complexity: a good candidate to be among the first ones you try, or to play with inexperienced people. Your goal is to build Forests all around your network, while keeping them separate from each other (a bit like Cities work in the core game; at the end of the game, you make 3 points for each group of at least 3 Forest tiles that are orthogonally adjacent). Additionally, some Forest tiles also have pinpoints where you can place Lookout Tower pawns (which, like gondolas in the Canals Expansion, can be placed using any Placement token as a wild card, instead of placing the corresponding standard pawn). Each Lookout Tower is worth 1 point +1 for each orthogonal direction in which there is at least 1 Forest tile. Like all expansions, the Forest Expansion comes with a few Objectives as well: for example, the Witch's House does not want to be in the same row or column as a Lookout Tower, while the Camping Ground must have at least 4 Forest tiles around it.

Railroad Tiles: Lakes Expansion
Your goal is to build Lakes and place Ferries in them to score points. Lakes also have another purpose: you can send a route into the lake side of a tile to create a Harbor (a bit like Canal End tokens work in the Canals Expansion), and all routes that are connected to the same Lake via Harbors are also connected to each other... basically, Lakes act as big Stations! Another special feature of the Lake Expansion also lies in the way Ferries are placed. At the end of each round, when you look at the active Placement tokens and place pawns accordingly, you must also look at each one of your Lakes: if you have more Harbors than Ferries in a certain Lake, you may place 1 Ferry pawn for free on any empty Ferry pin point until you have an equal number of Ferries and Harbors in that Lake. You score 1 point +1 point for each Ferry in the same Lake, up to a maximum of 3 Prestige points (they have a lower point limit than other pawns, which can be worth up to 5 points each, but you also place them for free on top of those coming from the 2 Placement tokens, instead of in place of 1 of them). Like all expansions, the Lake Expansion comes with a few Objectives as well: for example, the Fishermen's Island must be reachable by at least 3 Traveler pawns, while the Hydroelectric Plant must be part of a closed Lake with no open sides.

During the 19th century, the elevation of the Chicago area was just a few feet higher than the shoreline of Lake Michigan. For many years, there was little or no naturally occurring drainage from the city surface, and this lack of drainage caused unpleasant living conditions. Standing water harbored pathogens that caused numerous epidemics including typhoid fever and dysentery, culminating in the 1854 outbreak of cholera that killed six percent of the city's population. The crisis forced the city to take the drainage problem seriously. In 1856, engineer Ellis S. Chesbrough drafted a plan for the installation of a citywide sewerage system and submitted it to the city council, which adopted the plan. However, due to the minimal elevation above the lake, the sewer could not be built underground and had to be built at street level. The city council then decided to implement a radical idea: Prevented from digging down, they instead decreed the buildings of the city would be raised to allow the new sewer system to be hidden under the new street level. Representing one of the four companies that were created to tackle the problem of raising the buildings of Chicago, it's up to you to gather resources, take on the most attractive projects, and help solve the sanitation crisis of the city. On your turn in Raising Chicago, you place a tile on a resource slot associated with one of five building projects, then claim the resource you covered. After all players have placed tiles, each project is evaluated. The winning player pays resources to complete the project, claims the project reward, then places all of their tiles associated with that project as levels underneath the building onto a space on the board.
