Future Imperfect is a modular expansion for Anachrony, with three new modules expanding the possibilities beyond new horizons. These modules are playable on their own, but they are also compatible with each other and most past and future Anachrony modules and expansions. The Hypersync module allows you to perform a Capital action without actually placing an Exosuit, then in the future use the new Hypersync Action to make your placement affect the past. This puts serious strain on the space-time continuum, increasing the risk of Paradoxes, but often the risk is worth the reward and the flexibility. This module is supported for 1-4 players (Fractures of Time expansion required for solo play.) With the Quantum Loops module, you are no longer limited to warping from your own timeline: the module opens up parallel universes where resources are more plentiful, the locals are eager to join your cause, or their technology allows you to shortcut your own travels through time... The possibilities multiply through a new Warp tile that grants access to the powerful Quantum Effect cards, but beware - to close a loop to a parallel universe, you will need a real Breakthrough... Earth is recovering from a catastrophic explosion that exterminated the majority of the population centuries ago and made most of the surface uninhabitable due to unearthly weather conditions. The surviving humans organized along four radically different ideologies, called Paths, to rebuild the world as they see fit: Harmony, Dominance, Progress, and Salvation. Followers of the four Paths live in a fragile peace, but in almost complete isolation next to each other. Their only meeting point is the last major city on Earth, now just known as the Capital. By powering up the mysterious Time Rifts that opened in the wake of the cataclysm, each Path is able to reach back to specific moments in their past. Doing so can greatly speed up their progress, but too much meddling may endanger the time-space continuum. But progress is more important than ever before: if the mysterious message arriving through the Time Rift is to be believed, an even more terrible cataclysm is looming on the horizon: an asteroid bearing the mysterious substance called Neutronium is heading towards Earth. Even stranger, the scientists show that the energy signature of the asteroid matches the explosion centuries ago... Anachrony features a unique two-tiered worker placement system. To travel to the Capital or venture out to the devastated areas for resources, players need not only various specialists (Engineers, Scientists, Administrators, and Geniuses) but also Exosuits to protect and enhance them — and both are in short supply. The game is played in 4-7 turns, depending on the time when the looming cataclysm occurs — unless, of course, it is averted! The elapsed turns are measured on a dynamic timeline. By powering up the Time Rifts, players can reach back to earlier turns to supply their past "self" with resources. Each Path has a vastly different objective that rewards it with a massive amount of victory points when achieved. The Paths' settlements will survive the impact, but the Capital will not. Whichever Path manages to collect most points will be the new seat for the Capital, thus the most important force left on the planet...

Toto the black cat said, skittering towards the lopsided tower looming before him. Having been told that his mother left the world of the living to become a star in the sky, Toto and the rest of his feline friends bound unwaveringly for the top of the tower in the hopes to meet her again. In Cat and the Tower, you will work together with other players to help Toto the cat on his way up a perilous tower to reach the stars, where he believes his mother is waiting for him. It is up to you and the other players to build the tower yourself, which will require a constant balancing act of mismatched walls and moving Feline Friends. Depending on the luck of the draw, you may be stuck with options forcing you to build with walls of extremely varying height that can send the entire tower toppling over if you are not careful. Each turn will have you choosing options from the cards available to either build the tower ever higher, or testing how steady you can keep your hand by performing dexterity challenges that will help Toto climb up higher to his destination. Toto’s Feline Friends will also come along for the adventure, and their presence can both help and hinder you. Adjusting their location will let you rebalance the tower, but they may also end up in inconvenient spots that get in the way of you placing walls to build new floors.When Toto sees his friends making it to the floor above him, it gives him the bravery needed to climb up higher and higher himself. Build up the tower, place the Feline Friends and get Toto to reach his goal to win the game!

Players take turns clockwise until someone achieves a Dark Pact: "Keeper" Dark Pacts can stay in play, and if you ever meet their condition based on the cards you have in play, you win; "Instant" Dark Pacts are played as an action, and if you meet their condition based on the cards you have in hand, you win. To set up before the game, players decide which five faerie bands to use in the game from the 13 suits included in the box. They can be mixed and matched so game play varies from game to game. In each round, all players are dealt three cards. But interestingly, they are not yours, they are your opponents. You look at them, decide the order in which to stack them - and therefore in which order your opponent will later encounter them, then pass that stack in the direction of play. Likewise, you'll receive your stack in the same way. Then, in turn, starting from the first player, look at the top card of the three-card stack and announce your intention to keep the card for your tableau or discard it, hoping for a better card your opponent may have buried deeper. If you choose to discard, you wait until all "Keep" players have played. They discard their remaining stack of cards, without seeing them, and announce the Rank of their faerie. The highest Rank plays their card into their tableau and executes the faerie's ability. Once all "First Card" plays have occurred, the previous "Discard" players look at their second card, choosing to play or discard it. If the first two were discarded, the third card MUST be played. Did your opponent trick you into playing the worst card at the bottom of the stack. Was the best card the first card, which you discarded? There is plenty of guile and craft in the game. After the fifth round, players score each faerie suit in their alliances: 1 card of a Band: Score its Rank (from 1 to 5, depending on the card).2 cards of the same Band: Score 0 points.3-4 cards of a given Band: Lose points equal to the highest Ranking faerie in the Band.5 or more cards of a Band: Score the summed value of all the fairies in the Band.The player with the highest favor score wins. Then, change the faerie bands in the deck, with their own unique powers for a new challenge and constant variety in play.

Players take role of the commanders of the Soviet and Allied armies competing for prize winners: the capital of the Third Reich.
