In addition to earning points for filling each room on the ship, you can earn bonus points for filling certain rooms faster than other players. Further, by guiding passengers with luggage to their cabins, players can advance on the luggage track, allowing you to place additional small cabins, gain additional passengers, and earn bonus points. Each turn, players play a card from their hand following the rules of trick-taking games. After everyone has played a card, the player whoplayed the best card takes all the cards played this turn, some of which may be Boss Yokai. You’ll keep playing until the round ends, and you’ll determine the round’s winner.  You’ll win a round by taking a certain number of Boss Yokai cards, which will score you points. Be careful; you can lose a round by taking too many cards that aren’t Boss Yokai!

A city-state's influence in the world is measured by sets of tribe banners that it owns. Each Empire card has one or more tribe banners, and tribe banners can also be gained by defeating titans. Players gain victory points (VPs) for sets of tribe banners. After six rounds, the player with the most VPs from sets of tribe banners wins.
