Upgrade cards display a range of upgrades that can be used to customize your models or aid them in adventures and battles. These can include additional or reinforced equipment, potions, magical items, unique abilities, stat modifications, and more. Some upgrades can be applied to the whole party and used at any moment during the quest, while others are assigned to specific models. Players can buy upgrades with the remaining Recruitment points after assembling their party at the start of the quest or campaign. Alternatively, they can be purchased using Victory Points earned in previous efforts. Campaign quests are designed to be challenging, so it’s important to prepare with the right upgrades! For example, in the standard game size (3 models per player from the same faction box), you’ll have exactly 3 Recruitment points left to spend on upgrades after recruiting your models.
