ENTHRONE is an abstract, two-player deduction game. The roughly octagonal, diecut board is ringed by 8 beautifully crafted figures, busts representing the potential heir to the throne; the reigning King, the Priestess, the Knight, the Jester, the Demon, the Assassin, the Archer and the Wizard. Each player is dealt three identity cards, each showing one of the above pawns. You will choose one whom you intend to Enthrone. You also know the other two identities you did not choose - are not the identity of your opponent. They have the same knowledge - and two identities are left forever unknown by any player. You win if you can advance your pawn to the throne space at the center of the board. OR you can win by deducing who your opponent is and capturing and eliminating their pawn. OR you can have the three target identities listed on the bottom of your card eliminated from the game (by you or your opponent's handiwork). But the magic of the game is which pieces can be activated each turn - and what they are capable of, based on their position on the tile track. Hex Tiles on the bottom three positions are locked and cannot be moved. The top five can move by placing the tile on the bottom of the Hex tiles and pushing all tiles above it up one notch. Tiles in the top two spaces are the only ones capable of capturing and eliminating a piece. Tiles in the top three positions are the only once who can be moved to the Throne space (so long as it is YOUR pawn). Manipulating and strategizing how to move and position these tiles to suit your agenda is critical. Pylos
In Pylos, you want to be one who places the final ball on top of the pyramid. Sounds simple enough, right? At the start of the game, each player has fifteen balls, either light or dark, and they take turns placing them on a game board that has sixteen indentations on it in a 4x4 grid. Once four balls have been placed next to one another in a square, a ball can be placed on top of them, forming a second level of play. Players can then place balls on this second level, eventually allowing a ball to be placed on the third level and once that level is full, which requires only four balls, a final ball can be placed on the fourth level, with that player winning the game. If a player forms a square of his own color that is, four balls placed next to one another on the same level that player can remove one or two of his balls (that don't support anything) from anywhere on the board and place them in his reserve, thereby giving him more balls to place in the future. Whenever a player forms a square that's not entirely his own color, he can "stack" one of his pieces that is, he can take any ball and place it on this square, locking some pieces in place and making a move without having to place a piece from his reserve. The rules include a variant for children (that removes the square bonus) and one for experts (that allows a player to return 1-2 balls to his reserve when he creates a line of his color).

Mabula
In Mabula, each of the two players start with 12 marbles in their color on the perimeter of the playing area. Placement of the marbles is randomized as long as no color has more than two marbles in a row, even around a corner. On a turn, a player chooses a marble on the perimeter of the board, then moves it as many spaces as they wish across the board. If other marbles lie in this line, push them ahead of this marble, with the only restriction being that you can't push a marble so far that other marbles are pushed into the perimeter of play. Keep taking turns until no player can go. Whoever has the largest orthogonally connected group of marbles wins. Alternatively, you can decide before starting that a player's score will be the product of the sizes of all of their groups. In this situation, the maximum score is 81 (3x3x3x3).

Laser Chess
Laser Chess, originally released as Khet 2.0, is a chess-like game that combines lasers with classic strategy. To begin, players set up the pieces on the game board in one of several starting positions. Players then alternate turns, either moving a piece to an adjacent space, rotating a piece 90º, swap two adjacent pieces if one of them is a switch piece, or rotating their laser 90º; the pieces have two, one, or zero mirrored surfaces, and after moving or rotating a piece on your turn, you must then fire your laser, with the laser possibly being deflected by 90º whenever it hits a mirror on a piece (since the mirrors are angled at 45º). If the beam strikes a non-mirrored surface on almost any piece, that piece is removed from play. (One exception: The defenders have one surface immune from laser fire, which means you can use them to protect your king; they're vulnerable to laser fire from other directions, though.) When a king is hit by a laser, the other player wins the game! Friendly fire is possible, so try to make sure that you won't remove one of your one pieces when you shoot — unless you need to clear a shot to the enemy, that is!
