Freedom Squadron Plans & Operations Manual
Heads Up, Commandos! General Steel issued the mandate – stop VENOM’s latest scheme at all costs! Mirage gathered the initial intel, Top Boss crunched the numbers, and Uplink sent out the call. Now Sundown is calling you onto the Hornet so he can get you to the rendezvous with the rest of your mission team. Now it’s up to you and your fellow Commandos to work up the plan, insert into the op-zone, bypass security, talk your way past the front office people, hack the systems, and take out the Pythons you find guarding that last vault. It all comes down to making a good plan and executing a solid operation! The Freedom Squadron Plans & Operations Manual is everything you need to generate adventures and scenarios, as well as learn all about the world of VENOM Assault and Freedom Squadron: The new and highly innovative Plans & Operations rules, developed by Sean Patrick Fannon to enable GMs and players to narratively work together to create immersive, multi-faceted “mission montages” that use all of a team’s skills and resources while encouraging maximum narrative creativity for each player. A Mission Generator that works for Freedom Squadron or any modern post-modern setting featuring military and special operative heroes. A richly detailed history of the world of Freedom Squadron and VENOM, with a Timeline that covers everything from pre-history all the way through the end of World War III and the founding of Freedom Squadron. A system of special Mission Rewards that includes a new Contacts system, enabling players to develop special connections and relationships with specialists who can help them in future missions. Files and stats for lots of VENOM bad guys as well as Mission Specialists that can be called in to fill gaps in a team’s capabilities. “Savage Worlds was created to handle the kinds of games I often like to play and run, where you can be a badass fighter or wizard or whatever, but you can also be a leader. A planner. I’m proud of how the game accommodates that, and my friend Sean Patrick Fannon has added even more to it in Freedom Squadron. I had a blast in the Plans & Operations phase riffing off the other players, figuring out how best to use our individual characters’ skills, and then watching it all come together in the adventures that followed. Sean isn’t afraid of big games and big ideas, and this may be his best yet. I can’t wait to back, buy, and run it myself!” - Shane Hensley, Creator of Savage Worlds Grab this manual and get cracking on missions against VENOM and the other threats that endanger the whole world. Welcome to Freedom Squadron!

Monarchies of Mau Core Rulebook
Before we were six. Now we are one. We differ on many points, but on these we agree: Always trust our instincts, always reward loyalty, and always pounce upon minions of the Unseen. Without these tenets, we are no longer worthy of the adoration of Man. Monarch Trillani Persian von Mau, deceased Cats have inherited the world, unifying their six fractious monarchies after untold centuries. These cats have been uplifted to use tools and language, and they seek to rediscover the ruins of the Old Ones. Others seek to create a cohesive nation, using Precepts of Mau agreed to after years of political conflict. The world is dangerous and mysterious, but the instincts of a good cat will always be true. Some highlights of Monarchies of Mau include: An evocative and mysterious setting that’s both family friendly and deep enough to create compelling stories. A traditional fantasy rules system redesigned for streamlined play and easy creation of heroic cats, with an emphasis on cooperation and action over competition and violence. One Page RPGs - Volume 06
In 2016, Grant Howitt decided – flippantly – to write a one-page roleplaying game every month and release it for free online. Little did he know that the barely-intelligible pen-and-ink scratches he turned out would go on to define his career, and the shape of roleplaying games, for years to come. Played by thousands of people all over the world, Grant’s one-page games run the gamut from strange to silly, daft to deadly serious, and powerfully original to potentially copyright-infringing. Each volume contains (at least!) 13 games in their original single-page format, complete with SECRET BACK PAGE material for every game that’s never been released online. Plus, where relevant, the longer games Grant and his collaborators have released are printed in full-colour, saddle-stitched booklets. Each game has been written, illustrated (sorry) and laid out entirely by Grant, unless someone else helped him, in which case it says so. As of 2024, all these volumes come in US Letter size, in a sturdy cardboard folder with a spine. These games (and their back pages) are: Board To Death: You’re trapped in a board game (any board game). Fight your way out before you’re murdered by the malevolent inhabitants. Back page: A Card Game. A card-based game about personal development and interpersonal tension. Knock Off Mascots: YOU are an unofficial mascot for your football team. For years now you’ve been in the shadow of the official mascot. You’ve had enough. You and your friends are going to murder them. THEN the club will take you seriously. Back page: Lists of official mascots to dethrone and examples of their absurd privilege. Fucked Up Little Man: A Dark Souls fan RPG where you play the weird NPCs who go “heh heh heh heh” at the end of every exchange. Back page: Covenants to devote your fucked up little life to, traits and professions to make you that little bit more fucked up and weird, and some more rules. Malign Inspiration: A cosmic horror metagame that you may already be playing and cannot opt out of. Back page: A list of failed roleplaying game ideas that coincidentally rhyme with Malign Inspiration. You’re welcome to them. Super Cool Monster Hunting Club: Adventurous children battle unseen monsters using improvised equipment. Involves a surprising amount of dress-up for a tabletop game. Back page: An urban horror hack of Super Cool Monster Hunting Club. Darker and with more swearing. This One Time At Bard Camp: You are a trainee bard at Bardic Community College. You’ve been waiting all year for the highlight of the season; Bard Camp. You’ve got one week to achieve your dreams before you have to go back to the real world. Back page: Your entire adventuring party’s stuck in this one guy’s head. Take turns controlling him, and spend the rest of your time backseat driving. The Dungeon of Numbered Days: A means of producing a wholly original dungeon for adventures and looting using only a second-hand advent calendar, a pen and some imaginative gumption. Back page: An assortment of dubiously festive treasures with which to populate your dungeon. Stag Party: YOU are a HALF-HUMAN, HALF-BEAST creature from the DEEP DARK of the WOODS. You are getting MARRIED. As is TRADITION, you and all your peers are to be wed to THE ARBOREAL SOW: a beautiful and sacred pig the size of a transit van. It is the night before the ceremony and, as is TRADITION, you must secure tribute for your queen from the LANDS OF MAN. You have until dawn to claim something worthy. Back page: Hen Knights. YOU are a CHICKEN pressed into service as the Arboreal Sow’s honour guard. Fingers are complicated and you don’t know what’s going on. Do your best. EVERYONE IS SEAGULLS: The entire group plays a flock of seagulls. The core mechanic is yelling. Back page: Other things to be a large, noisy collective of, including rules for such. Irrefutable Proof: It’s 1890. You’re a charlatan medium. Perform your latest seance and fleece your client while a real ghost tries to kill you. Back page: Eleven abandoned literary adaptations of Honey Heist. The (Orc) Pope Is Dead: The last orc pope died of a drinking binge. Find a new one, or do the job yourself. Back page: MORE DETAILS OF THE INEFFABLE AND MYSTICAL ROLE OF THE POPE IN THE FAITH OF BOG-AL-KURRUK. Plastic Bastards: A narrative miniatures game in which you build a small gang of horrible little fighters, then come up with spurious reasons for them to try and murder each other. Back page: Grant’s Guide to Kitbashing, which you’ll find remarkably helpful in making your horrible little sods.

Picaresque Roman: A Requiem for Rogues
Picaresque Roman: A Requiem for Rogues is a rules-light, narrative-driven tabletop RPG from Japanese design studio Group SGR that features a streamlined 2d6 system, beautiful anime art, and a slew of unique and engaging gameplay mechanics. Picaresque Roman: A Requiem for Rogues is played with 4-5 people, as well as a gamemaster. Each person makes their own player character (PC) with a quick, streamlined system, then competes with each other in addition to the GM to earn the highest amount of "influence" each game. Over the course of a session, players can earn secret info that gives them a leg up on the other PCs, as well as make deals with or even steal from them. Regardless of whether or not you decide to help or hinder your fellow rogue, all that matters at the end of the day is who's got the most influence of the group, which means stealing from the sought-after "VIP" character who's under the GM's control each game and is often the focal point of the scenario or story. Do watch out though, because just to make things interesting, one of the players is secretly a traitor working for the VIP. If you can't figure out who it is before the end of the game, you might just find all your hard-earned influence gone—stolen by the traitor!
