Warlord Saga of the Storm Sealed Deck League Comes to Gamers Guild

  • , by Eden Miller

Warlord: Saga of the Storm's sealed deck league is launching at Gamers Guild. Join us for a structured, limited-format league at either of our locations. Grow and evolve your decks each session using the sealed product you receive throughout the league. New and returning players are welcome!

How Does the Warlord Sealed League Work?

Tempe Warlord League meets every Wednesday over four weeks at our Tempe location. If you're closer to the North Phoenix location, our North Phoenix Warlord League meets weekly on Thursdays. You'll register at your League's location and pay your entry fee of $70. Upon payment, you'll receive your starter kit and League Pool Registration Sheet.

What Comes in a Starter Kit?

Your starter kit consists of one Warlord starter deck and one Warlord booster pack. After scoring your matches for the week, you'll receive two new booster packs each week. Once you receive your starter kit, you'll register your league pool. Your entire league pool is your sideboard that you can use between games.

Can I Trade With Other League Participants?

Yes! You may trade six commons, two uncommons, one rare, and one legendary per week. Trades must be the same rarity, and you may not trade with the same person two weeks in a row. Traded cards must be registered on a trade slip and reported to staff with both participants.

I've Registered My League Pool and Built My Deck, Now What?

You'll be assigned to two opponents per week. It's ideal to meet and play during the regular in-store meetup day, but you may schedule your matches independently as long as they're completed before the weekly deadline. We recommend you play Best of 3, but you can optionally choose Best of 1 as well, so long as both parties consent. You'll record your results on a match slip provided by staff prior to the match, then return the slips together for staff verification.

How Do Points and Prizing Work?

You win one point per match played and one point per match won, to a maximum of 16 points. If you miss any matches, you won't receive any points for that match. Prizing is based on the number of points you receive.

  • 15-16 points: One Warlord Booster Box OR One Box of Greed
  • 13-14 points: One Warlord Playmat OR One Set of Warlord Sleeves
  • 9-12 points: Six Warlord Booster Packs
  • 4-8 points: One Set of Warlord Sleeves

If you want to prize out at a lower point tier than you've earned, you're welcome to choose that option as well. Prizing is awarded at the end of the league.

That's all you need to know about the Warlord Sealed League! We look forward to seeing you there in preparation for Warlord's Official Organized Play kicks off in May 2026.
