The Heroes of Thargos Card Game is built around factions and characters from the Cursed Empire TTRPG. Players battle one another using a simple-to-learn card resource management system to fight over a number of “mission tracks". The game allows players to develop their own play styles through the cards chosen for their decks without having to compete with a rarity system built into many collectible card games. The players choose how invested they wish to be in their decks through regular card pack releases and can construct their decks based on a variety of different play styles to achieve victory. The goal of the game is to acquire Victory Points through the completion of Mission Cards. Players will choose how many Victory Points they need to win based on the four Character Cards they choose to make up their team. Every Character Card is worth a number of Character Points, which not only signifies the estimated Power level of the Character Card, but also the number of Victory Points the player needs to win their match.The initial two-player starter box contains 136 cards with which players can build 2 legal starting decks. The Nimbus Tribes fashion axes from Snow Gum-like tree branches and chiseled stones, held fast by tight vines or reeds. Combined with a swooping charge, these axes can deliver a powerful force that makes the very rocks themselves tremble.Historical Notes: Nimbus are the fourth species of Occulite that was witnessed by Darwin. Early on when Charles Bruce first took Darwin to the Ridge, Darwin found the first Nimbus Occulite Tribe doing battle there. Around 2015 I played DC Deck Building Game for the first time and I've been hooked ever since. It's an extremely pure deck builder, where the only focus is optimizing your deck. It knows what it's good at and it does that really well. This is the quintessential deck building game, in my opinion. - May (Guild Service Representative) In the DC Comics Deck-Building Game: Heroes Unite, each player takes on the role of a Super Hero such as Shazam! or Hawkman. Your Super Hero has an ability that will guide your strategy throughout the game. Each player starts with his own basic 10-card deck and draws a hand of 5 cards each turn. Power is the currency you will use to buy new, stronger cards to add to your deck. A large, central stack of cards supplies a five-card “Line-Up” from which players make their purchases.
