Above and Below
Your last village was ransacked by barbarians. You barely had time to pick up the baby and your favorite fishing pole before they started the burning and pillaging. You wandered over a cruel desert, braved frozen peaks, and even paddled a log across a rough sea, kicking at the sharks whenever they got too close, the baby strapped tightly to your back. Then you found it! The perfect place to make your new home. But as soon as you had the first hut built, you discovered a vast network of caverns underground, brimming with shiny treasures, rare resources, and untold adventure. How could you limit your new village to the surface? You immediately start organizing expeditions and building houses underground as well as on the surface. With any luck, you'll build a village even stronger than your last-- strong enough, even, to turn away the barbarians the next time they come knocking. Above and Below is a mashup of town-building and storytelling where you and up to three friends compete to build the best village above and below ground. In the game, you send your villagers to perform jobs like exploring the cave, harvesting resources, and constructing houses. Each villager has unique skills and abilities, and you must decide how to best use them. You have your own personal village board, and you slide the villagers on this board to various areas to indicate that they've been given jobs to do. Will you send Hanna along on the expedition to the cave? Or should she instead spend her time teaching important skills to one of the young villagers? A great cavern lies below the surface, ready for you to explore-- this is where the storytelling comes in. When you send a group of villagers to explore the depths, one of your friends reads what happens to you from a book of paragraphs. You'll be given a choice of how to react, and a lot will depend on which villagers you brought on the expedition, and who you're willing to sacrifice to succeed. The book of paragraphs is packed with encounters of amazing adventure, randomly chosen each time you visit the cavern. At the end of the game, the player with the most well-developed village wins!

Allegra
In Allegra, based on the public card game "Golf", you want to keep your score as low as possible, but to do this sometimes you must help your neighbors along the way. The deck consists of cards numbered -1 to 11, and in each of the three rounds, each player starts with twelve cards face down in a grid of four columns and three rows. Your rightmost column is also considered to belong to your right-hand neighbor, and likewise your area includes the rightmost column of your left-hand neighbor. Each player reveals any two cards in their area, then the round begins. On a turn, you either draw the top card of the deck and reveal it, or draw the top card of the discard pile. If you draw from the discard pile, swap that card with any card in your area, then discard the replaced card. If you draw from the deck, you can discard that card (turning any card in your area face up) or you can swap that card with any card in your area. If you draw from the deck, any other player can knock on the table to indicate that they want this card. You can ignore the knock, or you can give them the card; in the latter case, they then replace one card in their area with this new card, taking the old card in their hand. You then take any one card in their area and swap it for a card in your area, discarding the replaced card. The other player then places the card in their hand into the hole you created when you took one of their cards. Any time you have three identical cards in a row or column — even a row that includes a card in your left neighbor's rightmost column! — you discard those cards from play. Whenever one player has all their cards face up, each other player takes one more turn, then players sum the value of the cards in their area (which includes any cards remaining their neighbor's rightmost column). If the player who triggered the end of the round doesn't have the lowest sum, their sum is doubled. The player with the lowest total score after three rounds win

Ankh’or takes place in ancient Egypt where players need tobe savvy in the marketplace and a skilled builder if they want to get ahead. Each turn, players either collect resource tokens, like Fish, Cloth, or Bamboo, or they spend those tokens in the market to collect building tiles. Some tiles have special abilities, such as the Warehouse that can store resource tokens or the Scribe that grants players an immediate bonus turn. As tiles are acquired, players must place them in their growing structure. At the end of the game, they score points for grouping tiles of the same symbol and the same color. Ankh: Gods of Egypt - Pharaoh
The Pharaohs in ancient Egypt were anointed by the gods, themselves, to be the ruler of the people as well as the high priest and humanity’s defender. When the gods began their war against one-another, they all sought the Pharaoh’s favor. But the Pharaoh was determined to remain neutral and make sure that the conflict didn’t spill over into the moral realm. However, each god is still trying to curry his favor by influencing events in the royal palace. The Pharaoh expansion for Ankh brings an entirely new dimension to the game. The gods will send their high priests into the courts of the royal palace, looking to gain favor with the Pharaoh so that he will recognize them as the one true god of the land. These god’s influence will be felt far and wide, changing the course of the civilization, hopefully for the better if they wish to be the one that remains when Egypt becomes monotheistic.
