You will need to coordinate your teams of 3 in advance; Single or double entries will not be accepted. Please only purchase a ticket if you have coordinated your team of 3.
Waitlisted Events:
• If you’re not physically present within 5 minutes of the posted start time, your seat may be given to someone on the waitlist, even if you called ahead.
• Game 1 OR Round 1 losses will still apply if you are late and still allowed to participate (at the sole discretion of the TO's and may vary from game to game)
• If your seat is given away, you’ll receive a full refund within 3 business days, and are NOT eligibile for any promos or giveaways.
• Anyone on the waitlist must pay before sitting down, no exceptions—even if things are moving fast.
Prize Payout -
Prize pool:
15x MTG Secrets of Strixhaven play booster packs added to the prize pool per team (that means a full box per 2 registered teams!)
Minimum 4 teams needed to fire; 12 teams = 1 case in prizing!
Teams with X-0 records:
1x MTG Secrets of Strixhaven play booster box + 3x Neon Yellow Cavern of Souls, one for each member of your team!
Teams with X-1 records:
Split any remaining prize pool with all other X-1 teams; If X-1 teams would receive more than a full booster box, the excess will be prized to the X-0 team
Raffle Prize:
At the end of the event, all teams minus the undefeated team will be entered into a raffle to win 3x Neon Yellow Cavern of Souls, one for each member of your team! (Must be present to win!)
Max Player Count - 36 (12 teams)
Number of Rounds - Play to 1 undefeated team, up to 4 rounds.
Time Per Round - 50 minutes deckbuilding, 50 minutes per swiss round

Description - Join us at Gamer’s Guild Tempe for our Monthly Win-A-Box! This rotating format event is built for and by our local competitive Magic community, but all skill levels are welcome.
This month, the format of choice is Team Trios Sealed! Teams will open 12 packs of Secrets of Strixhaven, and use the cards inside to build three 40 card decks; one for each member of their team! Each round, teams will play one another in three separate 1v1 best-of-3 games. The team that wins at least 2 out of 3 games will win the round! You will need to coordinate your teams of 3 in advance; Single or double entries will not be accepted.
After up to 4 rounds of swiss gameplay, undefeated teams secure themselves at least an entire Play booster box of Secrets of Strixhaven to split amongst themselves, and X-1 teams will still earn a considerable handful of Play boosters!
