Monumental: Lost Kingdoms
Monumental is a next generation civilization game by Matthew Dunstan, packed with innovative mechanics taking the best of deckbuilding and 4X games. Raise your empire, develop deep knowledge and build majestic wonders while exploring and conquering the known world to emerge as the most dominant civilization of all time ! The "Lost Kingdoms" civilization box is the first expansion to Monumental, providing you with 4 new Civilizations to play as: the Aztecs, the Mughals, the Amazons and the Atlanteans (all completely compatible with the 5 Core civilizations and the African Empires civilizations) as well as more Terrain tiles including new terrain types (desert, jungle, islands, Aztec pyramids), and enabling an all-new 5 player mode! In Lost Kingdoms, each civilization comes with its own deck of cards including cultural policies, Knowledge and Buildings as well as new very specific Provinces per civilization: pyramids for the Aztecs, desert for the Mughals, jungle for the Amazons and islands for the Atlanteans. Of course, these new types of terrain could be used with or without their assigned Civilizations to enhance the look of the board and the creation of your maps. These civilizations, lost in time and legends, await their resurrection in Monumental: Lost Kingdoms! - 5TH PLAYER ADDITION Lost Kingdom contains the rules and components needed to play 5-player games of Monumental. This feature becomes even more attractive when using the new Continuous Play Mode ! In order to play with 5 players, Lost Kingdoms provides: - New Province Tiles and a 5th Capital tile. - 5-player scenarios (maps) - A new Market: Carthago - Additional Free City Tokens As well as… - NEW DEVELOPMENT CARDS These 12 new Development cards will greatly increase Monumental’s replayability: - Knowledge: Coinage; Astronomy; Animal Husbandry; Relativity; Flight - Wonders: Orichalc Walls of Atlantis; The Red Fort; Tenochtitlan; Panama Canal; Golden Gate Bridge - Buildings: Channels; Theater - 6TH MARKET TOKEN: Lost Kingdoms adds one token for each existing Market, which will add more choices to the current pool when visiting a Market tile, in addition to the new Market Carthago, complete with its 6 tokens. - NEW PROVINCE TILES There are four new types of Province tiles in Lost Kingdoms, each of which inspired by one of the new civilizations: - Aztec Pyramids: Whenever you conquer an Aztec Pyramid, you must pay 1 Gold in addition to any other resources you would normally pay. - Islands: Each Island tile shows two bridges connecting to 2 or 4 adjacent Province tiles, depending on which adjacent Provinces the bridges might point to. The only way to enter the Island is by bridge from one of these adjacent tiles. Provinces adjacent to an Island are considered to be Coastal provinces. - Deserts: After you conquer a Desert, you must return one conquering Soldier to your Capital tile. - Jungles: It costs 1 additional Military resource for Explorers to enter a Jungle. This additional cost must always be paid, even if the Explorer is moving for free as the result of another effect. - NEW AUTOMA CARDS This expansion includes Automa cards which are adapted to the new civilizations, as well as some stronger cards for more experienced players! - 4 NEW CIVILIZATIONS Altogether with the Core box civilizations, 9 Civilizations are now ready to fight for glory and dominance in Monumental against other players or in Solo mode! Lost Kingdoms brings 4 more civilizations to the game, each of them with their specific game mechanic alongside exclusive new Buildings, Knowledge, Cultural Policies and new Warlord effects. - Amazons The Amazons were known for their ability to utilize horses both in combat and everyday life - in Monumental, horses are a new resource represented by a new type of Token. The Amazons’ cultural policies also make use of horses in many different ways, from using Beasts of Burdento complete Wonders, to using Wall of Horses to make all provinces with horses in them even more expensive to conquer. - Mughals The Mughals excel at efficiency and city management, being able to quickly discard useless cards from their City in order to optimize access to their more powerful Buildings and Knowledge. This efficiency is also reflected in the special way the Mughals use their Cultural Policies. Unlike other civilizations, when the Mughals develop a new Cultural Policy, they don’t stack their Cultural Policies - they instead place each new Cultural Policy next to a row or column in their City. For the remaining part of the game, whenever that row/column of cards is activated, so is the associated policy, meaning that in the later portion of the game, you might end up having access to all five policies rather than just one, and thus being able to activate up to 2 per turn! - Atlantis The Atlanteans use Knowledge and Special Building cards differently from other Civilizations. Instead of being placed in their City deck, those cards are kept separate above their City, in a row known as the Nexus. At the start of every turn, when you cross-tap your 5 City cards, the leftmost card in the Nexus is also activated and moves towards the end of the row afterwards. Atlanteans policies align with this scientific focus, while their affinity to the sea echoes their inevitable demise. - Aztecs Human sacrifice played a central role in Aztec culture, and in Monumental this manifests in a new keyword: Sacrifice. Sacrificing allows you to gain powerful effects, but at the cost of your Soldiers: When you sacrifice a Soldier, that token (or figure) is removed from the map permanently and cannot be used to conquer or occupy Provinces. The Aztecs have access to Cultural Policies that play into this delicate cycle of sacrifice and recovery, life and death.

Savannah Park
In Savannah Park, you each run your own wildlife park, and your goal is to group animals with their own kind — but everyone takes turns deciding what to move, so you might not be able to shuffle animals into the right spaces. Each player starts the game with the same set of 33 unique animal tiles, with those tiles laid out at random in your personal wildlife park. Three bush-fire spaces and one rock space will remain unoccupied in your park for the entire game, and six tree spaces and four grass spaces are unoccupied at the start of play. On a turn, you name a specific face-up tile that all players must pick up, flip face down, then move to a different empty space within their own park. Tiles that have been flipped cannot move again, and once all tiles have moved, the game ends with a scoring round. First, tiles adjacent to bush fires are removed if they depict as many animals as the number of fires (1, 2, or 3) on the bush-fire space. Score for each grass and tree uncovered on your board. Finally, score for each of the six animal species; the bigger the main herd of each of species and the more water holes it contains, the more points you score, e.g. a herd of five rhinos and three watering holes is worth (5x3) 15 points. The player with the most points wins. Savannah Park includes a solo mode, a set-up variant that allows you to place the bush fires and trees where you wish, and a scoring variant that rewards you for bumping a lion out of the animals' way.

Dates and product details are subject to change as new information from the manufacturer is updated. In Aridnyk, you will play as shepherds who take their flocks to the mountains in the spring and travel until the fall, looking for the best pastures, meeting the ancient spirits of the Carpathians, and implementing their intricate plots. You will decide how to avoid falling into the jaws of a Great Wolf, and how to outwit the Blackbird, who was ordered by God to shepherd all the sheep in the world. You will see how Aley, the God’s Spirit, splits the earth with a wave of a paw. You will exchange magical trinkets from Aridnyk, who at the beginning of times was the brother of God himself. And, of course, you will earn wisdom from the Holy God, who knows everything about everything. The game is based on the mythology and legend of the Hutsuls – a Ukrainian ethnical group from the Carpathian mountains, who through the centuries developed a unique culture, the amazing blend of Christian and pagan traditions, together with the tough highlander customs. During their turn, the player places a tile from their hand and activates its “when placed” abilities: move their Shepherd, move one of the Spirits, draw a Card (Plot of Trinket), or gain Sheep. After moving their Shepherd, the player can activate the “when moved on” abilities of the tile, and the shepherd has ended their movement on. Any time during their turn, the player may play 1 trinket card, receiving a buff or any number of plot cards, but only if their conditions are met in full. When the player completes their actions, they draw a new tile, and the turn passes to the next player. The game lasts until all the tiles are placed, and after the last player completes their turn, all players count their sheep, and whoever has the largest flock is declared a winner!

Dates and product details are subject to change as new information from the manufacturer is updated. Coalitions is based on the series of conflicts known as the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Players, representing major European powers, compete against each other to shape the future of the Continent. The innovative and elegant game system allows a historical recreation of the conflicts, but better yet, can also create plausible alternative histories. The Alliances may take different forms, the campaigns may be fought along different lines of approach, but what the players witness is still a believable version of history. Coalitions brings the whole continent of the Napoleonic Wars into a fast, playable system. Multiplayers—with NO downtime. Each turn, EVERY player is doing something… but doing something ‘different.’ This sets up an unexpected cycle like nothing you’ve ever played before. Cool wooden pieces, or a “Deluxe” version with some of the most beautiful miniatures you’ve ever seen. Kickstarter backers get exclusive sculpts, an extra player expansion, plus an extra game covering a slightly different period! Throughout the period, Britain formed coalitions with almost any nation that would stand against France. Whenever a coalition was defeated, Britain sought to form a new one with states that would carry on the fight. Nations also had other motives to fight wars, often seeking to expand their own borders at the cost of their neighbors. Britain itself fought the French in Portugal and Spain and, with almost total control of the sea, sent military expeditions wherever there was a chance of harassing the French. Can the Emperor of Austria protect the German Reich and Northern Italy from the Revolutionary Armies? Will the Prussian King and Russian Tsarina join as allies or not? Will the Ottoman Empire be able to protect Egypt, the Balkans and Caucasus from the aggressive neighbors? When you play Coalitions, you decide the destiny of Europe; your decisions will make history. Will you guide France to greatness? Will you galvanize and unite Europe to bring an end to the infant republic and restore the Ancien Régime? Or maybe there is a Metternich in you, able to deceive others and bluff your way to victory with a cunning smile? Each player controls one of six asymmetric factions: France, England, Austria, Prussia, Russia or Turkey. They then try to form an alliance, insisting that it will be beneficial to all, although only one player can actually win. Throughout the game, players try to capture and consolidate key positions, which will earn victory points during the relevant phase.
