On a turn, you move your character to a different location on your player board, taking one or more of the actions visible on that space (often by playing cards from your hand), then refill your hand to four cards. Cards are allies, items, effects, conditions, and (for some characters) curses. You need to use your cards to fulfill your unique win condition, which sometimes involves overcoming the hero from your villain's particular Disney film.

Munchkin Easter Eggs is a 15-card booster that contains Munchkin cards with an Easter theme. The seven Treasures and eight Doors included have the standard Munchkin card backs, but the card fronts use a different color scheme: the Treasures have a green border and a yellowish background, while the Doors have a light blue border with a red and white background. (There's some sort of pattern/image to the background.) The cards do not add any new or unusual mechanisms or interactions, but they bring a good bit of humor to the game. Each round consists of 2 identical phases in which players draft cards, and then build a “song” with the cards that they kept. Each player’s “song score” will be totaled on 4 conditions, and the winning song then takes a facedown card as a sailor. The first player with 2 sailors wins!
