Vivo
In Vivo, each round starts by revealing a harmony type (Solo, Duet, Trio, Quartet). The harmony determines how many suits must be played in the trick—not being able to is considered playing “off-harmony,” making that player ineligible for points. At the end of the trick, the player who played the highest on-harmony card scores two points, and the lowest on-harmony card scores for the value of that card (those bass notes are so important!). Clever card play options and timing keeps each hand tense and engaging. Harmony cards played each round but revealed for the coming round allows for planning and anticipation for when to perfectly play just the right note card. Standard trick taking rule set makes this game accessible for new and experienced gamers alike with a very small learning curve. Adorable artwork from Sai Beppu makes this a delight to look at and oh so cute on the table. Contents: 48 Playing Cards 15 Harmony Cards

Hey Yo
In Hey Yo: The Card Game with a Beat, you all play cards to a shared music chart so that you can ideally create solid rhythms and score points. The game includes a small dedicated device that you can use to accompany the gameplay, with players needing to play a card when the music indicates this. If you can't play in time to the rhythm, you're penalized, so you must talk quickly to share information and decide which cards to play. (Alternatively, you can play music of your choice to set the rhythm of play for the game.) Hey Yo includes two identical decks of cards, so instead of playing a co-operative game with 2-5 players, you can have 4-10 players split into teams to compete against one another.
