By the Seashore is a lightweight card game featuring hand management, set collection, and a clever spatial puzzle. Each item (starfish, sea glass, sand dollar, etc.) scores differently in your collection tableau, but you must "unlock" that item in order for it to score. Play starts with six face-up cards in the middle of the table. On your turn, you can either trade up by discarding a card and taking one card of higher value or trade down by discarding a card and taking two cards of equal or lower value. Once you collect either a three-of-a-kind or a three-in-a-row, you can score that set; add one card to your tableau, pass one card, and dedicate the last for scoring. (You'll only score for symbols that you have dedicated in this way.) Different symbols shown on the cards have different scoring mechanisms, so cleverly arrange the cards in your tableau to maximize your points. Play continues until everyone has at least five cards in their tableau, then you score. Whoever has the most points win!

Granny Hortensia, owner of the lands of an eccentric farmer's family, dies one day without leaving a will. One night, the moon turns reddish, and the grandmother reappears as a ghost to put her four grandchildren to the test. She will visit them three times, always coinciding with the red moon. After her three appearances, whoever has become the most experienced farmer will inherit all her land. Money, water, and fertilizer management is the key to winning La Familia Hort, with your goal being to have the most experience points after Granny Hortensia's three visits. The game is played in rounds, and each round has five steps determined by the active round card: Market: crop, utensil, and animal tiles are drawn from the pile of the indicated type. Purchase: each player can successively buy one tile from the market. Power up: Players can discard pairs, 3-of-a-kinds, or 4-of-a-kinds to search their decks for Aces (super moves). Also, if they performed any chain combos (straights of sequential normal attacks, such as a 2,3,4,5) that turn, they can also search for Aces. The game ends when one player is reduced to 0 life, or when one player draws the last card of their deck. In that case, time is out and the player with the highest life wins.
