The artwork is awesome in Sagrada! I love the dice rolling and drafting mechanics used to build the stained glass windows. It is a very simple game with a lot of depth to your strategy. You are the mayor of a tiny town in the forest in which the smaller creatures of the woods have created a civilization hidden away from predators. This new land is small and the resources are scarce, so you take what you can get and never say no to building materials. Cleverly plan and construct a thriving town, and don't let it fill up with wasted resources! Whoever builds the most prosperous tiny town wins! In Tiny Towns, your town is represented by a 4x4 grid on which you will place resource cubes in specific layouts to construct buildings. Each building scores victory points (VPs) in a unique way. With the rising sun, the songbirds begin to sing. In this magical forest, the loudest songbirds claim the ripest berries and prime nesting spots. As a forest spirit, you help your favorite songbird color prosper in secret. Each turn, you’ll place one songbird with a specific volume into the forest. The volume of each songbird will add to those of the same color in rows and columns. The songbird color with the loudest volume wins the berry token in the respective column or row. At the end of the game, you reveal the last remaining songbird card in your hand. This is your favored songbird and you score the points that the songbird color collected in berry tokens and add in the volume of your favored songbird. Katamino Tower is a logic puzzle game played with high-end 3D wooden shapes that must be arranged in order to reconstruct a tower. Each shape of the game is unique. In the cooperative mode for two players, each turn, a player chooses one of 15 pieces of the game and they play either around the pillar for the rings, or outside for the pentaminos. Players are allowed to gather. The rings can be rotated as they are played along the pillar. The aim is to round off the perfect cylinder. Each full ring equals 1 point. The game can also be played as a solitaire puzzle. According the the selected difficulty level, the player will have to re-create a 2, 3, 4 or 5 level tower. If the player chooses Beginner Mode, he receives clues about the pieces he/she should use. Flash 8 is a fast-paced sliding-tile game where 1-4 players race to move their colourful electron tokens around their city board (their 'tablet') to re-create combinations and score points, all in real time. The competitive version (2-4 players) has players racing against one another to be the first to claim the cards in the center of the table by sliding their multicoloured electron tokens into the empty space in their city grid tablet in an attempt to re-create the colour combinations on the cards. Every time a combination is completed, the successful player yells "Flash!" and they collect that card while the game keeps going. The game ends when all cards are claimed, and the player with the most cards wins! The solo version of Flash 8 asks you to re-create, using the same sliding-tile mechanism, any combination shown on the grid of electrons laid out in front of you.
