SPELL is a tactical dueling game for one or two players, set during the legendary Tournament of Äphalest, where the most powerful witches and sorcerers compete for control of the Gem of Vrinolur, an artifact forged to command the forces of darkness.
Players enter a magical arena as rival mages, using activated tiles to recreate rune shapes and cast powerful spells. By manipulating the ever-changing battlefield, summoning elementals, teleporting across the arena, or pushing opponents out of position, each duel becomes a test of foresight, positioning, and adaptability. Every choice matters, as the arena itself evolves throughout the match.
SPELL can be played in symmetrical mode, where both mages share identical abilities, or in asymmetrical mode, where unique amulets grant special powers and distinct playstyles. The game also includes a solo mode, offering a challenging puzzle-like experience for players seeking to test their mastery.
Accessible yet deep, SPELL blends logical pattern-building with direct confrontation, delivering fast, tense matches that reward clever planning and tactical creativity.
