We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a Hostess in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant setting. As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for managing reservations, seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests during peak hours. Pay: $15.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Guest Reception:
  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
  • Manage the waitlist efficiently and provide accurate wait time estimates.
• Reservation Management:
  • Receive and confirm reservations, ensuring accurate recording of guest information.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to optimize table turnover.
• Seating Arrangements:
  • Organize and optimize seating arrangements to accommodate guests and maximize restaurant capacity.
  • Balance the distribution of guests among different sections or servers.
• Communication Hub:
  • Serve as a communication hub between guests, servers, and kitchen staff.
  • Relay important information such as special requests, allergies, or celebrations.
• Maintaining Lobby Area:
  • Keep the lobby area clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Monitor and manage the waiting area to ensure a comfortable experience for guests.
• Assisting Servers and Staff:
  • Support servers with any seating-related information or adjustments.
  • Assist in coordinating special events or large party reservations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Hostess or in a guest service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and efficiency.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Guest-focused mindset with a positive and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
