Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 20 to 25 staff members, handling scheduling, utilizing Toast POS for numbers reporting, and ensuring the highest standards of professional hospitality in accordance with our Code of Conduct.

Pay: $55,000 - $65,000

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency.
  • Numbers Reporting: Utilize Toast POS to generate accurate and timely reports related to sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics.
  • Code of Conduct Adherence: Uphold and enforce the company's Code of Conduct, fostering a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all front-of-house staff consistently deliver exceptional customer service, meeting and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Training and Development: Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff members, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and other management teams to maintain seamless coordination between front and back of house operations.
  • Quality Control: Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and overall guest experience to maintain high standards.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve customer complaints and staff issues promptly and effectively.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and other relevant industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Front of House Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Familiarity with Toast POS system.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry best practices.
  • Understanding of labor laws and scheduling optimization.
