Job Description:
Overview: We are looking for a passionate Events Director to develop and oversee our Regional Level Organized Play Program. As the Events Director, you will play a pivotal role in building and growing the GGAZ brand here in the community, planning exciting events for our local and traveling players, and engaging our audience across various game systems. This role requires a passion for gaming, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

- Organized Play Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive organized play plan aligned with Gamers Guild's goals and brand identity.
- Continuously evaluate and refine events to optimize player attendance and brand awareness.
- Brand Building
- Ensure all events hosted by GG reflect our brand voice, values, and aesthetic.
- Maintain consistency in organization and identity across all events and tournaments
- Audience Engagement
- Monitor audience feedback, trends, and analytics to optimize content strategies.
- Foster community engagement through the content created.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, design, and Content, to align event efforts with broader company initiatives and campaigns.
- Collaborate with external partners, influencers, and content creators to expand reach and attendance.
- Growth Initiatives
- Identify opportunities to grow Gamers Guild’s presence and event attendance.
- Propose and implement innovative ideas and initiatives to drive event attendance and achieve key objectives.
- Quality Assurance
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and professionalism in all events held.
- Conduct thorough analysis of each event to ensure they meet Gamers Guild's standards and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event creation and management, preferably in the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of gaming trends, event marketing, and branding strategies.
- Understanding of analytical reporting for events, attendance, and attributed sales.
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft engaging event descriptions.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and staying on top of industry trends.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
- Enthusiasm for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming culture, trends, and communities.

- Pay: 75k-85k/year DOE
