Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our bakery team as an Early Morning Prep / Bakery Worker. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless preparation and setup of the bakery for daily sales, requiring a commitment to starting work at 3 am. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.50/hr DOE

Responsibilities

• Early Morning Setup:
  • Arrive promptly at 3 am to start the setup for the day's operations.
  • Prepare workstations, equipment, and ingredients for the day's baking activities.
  • Ensure that all necessary tools and supplies are readily available.
• Baking Preparation:
  • Assist in the preparation of doughs, batters, and other ingredients as per established recipes.
  • Coordinate with the baking team to ensure a smooth transition from setup to baking.
• Quality Control:
  • Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in all baked goods.
  • Conduct visual checks on finished products to ensure they meet the bakery's standards.
• Cleaning and Sanitization:
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure a hygienic baking environment.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.

• Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with other bakery team members to achieve daily production goals.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Organization and Inventory:
  • Keep track of ingredient inventory and report any shortages to the supervisor.
  • Organize storage areas to maintain an efficient and well-stocked workspace.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bakery or food preparation role is preferred.
• Ability to start work at 3 am and maintain a consistent early morning schedule.
• Knowledge of baking techniques and familiarity with commercial baking equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
