Express: The Railroad Card Game
Building trains is an integral part of America's history. Now the tradition continues with Express, a unique card game for the 90's. Reminiscent of classic card games but including new play twists, Express is as easy to learn as rummy. Players start with one or two car trains and build on their meld to maximize points and bonuses. But players must be wary of train wrecks and derailments. Unique play allows partners to pass key cards to each other during the game. The cards represent various train cars, freight, passenger and way, diesel locomotives and disasters. Cards are shuffled and dealt to each player, and remaining cards form a draw pile. Turns consist of drawing either two cards from the face down draw pile or one face up card from the discard pile, melding cards from one's hand and discarding a card. Players must end their turns with no more than five cards in their hands. Players meld cards to form freight trains or passenger trains, or they meld individual way cars. Freight trains are melded so that all the cars are of the same type, such as box car, tank car or auto carrier. However, a wild card car can be used to have two types of cars in the same freight train. Passenger trains may contain any or all of the different types of passenger cars. Each train needs a locomotive which can be any card placed face down. There is a locomotive pictured on the back of each card. During the melding phase of their turn, players may exchange face down locomotive cards with any card in their hand. This feature allows partners to share cards when the game is played by four or six. Disaster cards may be played as discards. They can change the direction of play, allow theft of an opponent's car or wreck an entire train. Way car cards either absorb the damage of corresponding disasters or remedy them in a fashion similar to the Coup Fourre' of Mille Bornes. Hands end when a player or partnership "goes out." To do this the player's melds must consist of at least one five car train, one four car train and all other trains must be at least three cars long. The player then melds all but one card which he discards. Trains and way cars are scored. Cards left in players hands count against them. The game is played in hands until one player or partnership accumulates the points needed to win. The player or partnership with the most points at the end of that hand wins.

Trio
nana, which was later reprinted as Trio, is a card game in which players are looking for three of a kind. The deck consists of 36 cards, numbered 1-12 three times. Players receive some cards in hand, which they are required to sort from low to high, and the remaining cards are placed face down on the table. On your turn, choose any single card to reveal, either the low or high card from a player's hand (including your own) or any face-down card from the table. Then, do this again. If the two cards show the same number, continue your turn; if they do not, return the cards to where they came from and end your turn. If you reveal three cards showing the same number, take these cards as a set in front of you. If you are the first player to collect three sets, you win — except that a player wins immediately if they collect the set of 7s or two sets that add or subtract to 7, e.g., 4s and 11s. Note that nana and Trio contain identical components, but nana is labeled for 2-5 players, while Trio is labeled for 3-6 players. Trio has slight changes to the rules, with players using all cards no matter the player count. Additionally, you play in normal mode — winning with three sets or the 7s — or "spicy" mode, winning with two linked sets or the 7s. Finally, Trio includes rules for playing in teams with four or six players.

Dates and product details are subject to change as new information from the manufacturer is updated. "Gold is the lifeblood of the war!" As the Hun horde swept across Europe, they forced the Germanic tribes into exodus. These warlike peoples spread within the borders of the Western Empire and, by dint of looting and war, will eventually cause the collapse of the Empire. In the twilight of antiquity and at the dawn of the Middle Ages, the so-called "barbarian nations" founded kingdoms on the former imperial territory. In Barbarian Kingdoms, an asymmetrical and competitive strategy game, each player controls their own nascent kingdom and competes for supremacy over Western Europe. The first player to control seven territories or to eliminate two opposing kings wins. On a turn, each player chooses and resolves a single action of their choice: Recruitment: deploy a warrior from the reserve by paying a cost Taxation: collect money from the provinces in their kingdom Assault: invade a province or attack an enemy unit Maneuvers: reposition their units in their provinces or towards the sea Claim: try to take control of a province by paying a cost Assault and claim actions can be immediately challenged by an opponent and resolved by a battle. During the battle, a bribe may be paid to the opponent to try to reverse the outcome. Players must be vigilant in positioning their forces (with the constraint of a maximum of one unit per province), keep an eye on their opponents, and take advantage of their two asymmetrical powers: that of their kingdom and that of their king.

But you’re not the only one vying for their attention; you might find yourself at odds with a rival company as you attempt to woo these reptiles. You better make sure you have just the right gifts to make the best impression. If that doesn’t work, you could always donate the gifts and write off the expenses. After all, it’s not just about the love; it’s also about the money. Shell Company - Don’t Write Me Off is the first in a series of games Born at PAX®. What does “Born at PAX” mean? We at Lynnvander Studios teamed up with the PAX team to run a panel called Design a Board Game Live. Shell Company - Don’t Write Me Off was conceived by the crowd at PAX East 2022. They came up with the combination of turtle dating sim and tax evasion, and we refined their ideas into the board game you’re holding now! Shell Company is an auction-style bidding game with a touch of bluffing where players will need to manage their finances in order to acquire gifts. These gifts can either be used to romance potential clients, or they can be donated and used as a tax write-off. Both of these things are important because players are scored based on their weaker area.

Sheep in Disguise
Sheep in Disguise is a vibrant and strategic card game about protecting adorably-helpless Sheep from being devoured by the many outrageous and dangerous predators of the world. Collect Flocks of Sheep, keep them safe from Attacks, and use Action cards to destroy anyone that gets in your way! Players take turns drawing cards to collect matching sets of disguised Sheep and a variety of powerful Action cards. When a player has collected 3 Sheep of a kind, they must be placed face up on the table immediately. This set of 3 Sheep is called a Flock. In a 4 player game, the first person to collect 4 unique Flocks is the winner. On their turn, a player may use as many Action cards as they like by playing them to the Discard. They may also make one trade with the Field per turn. The Field is a constantly changing group of cards in the middle of the table that players can exchange cards with to help them build a strong hand. The Field guarantees that the game isn’t completely luck of the draw and allows the player to strategize and build combo moves in order to progress their game. Players can also target an opponent's Flock by placing an Expose card on top of it. This Action exposes the Flock's disguise, leaving them vulnerable to an Attack! Players must choose to take the risk of leaving their Flock exposed or pay to remove the Expose card, ensuring the Flock's identity remains a secret. When an Attack card is drawn, all Exposed Flocks are destroyed! Be strategic and be devious. If you play your cards right, you can turn the Attack card into an extremely powerful tool to help you get ahead... otherwise, you may end up as the victim. If you find yourself falling behind, don't worry! All players are in it until the very end and one big move is all it takes to flip the whole game on its head!

The Quick And The Undead
Ride into West Fort, a small town in the Wild West overrun with undead and show the inhabitants you are not to be crossed. Gain more Notoriety than your fellow Outlaws, take control of the town and claim it as your own. Plan your actions carefully to maximize their effect and prepare to fight over common goals. Earn, steal and shoot your way to notoriety whether in-game, by controlling unique buildings, or by clearing out the undead plaguing the town. Shoot first, ask never. The Quick and the Undead is played over “days” and each day is broken into 3 rounds of actions. Each round begins with all players simultaneously, and secretly, selecting 1 of the 8 actions by setting the corresponding number on their D8.Players reveal their numbers simultaneously and place an outlaw from their stash onto their chosen action.Players will take their turns in descending numerical order, starting with “hired guns” and continuing from action “8” down to action “2."If two or more players have an outlaw on the same action they will duel.At the end of a player's turn, if they have enough money, and there are no Undead in the street, they may purchase a building to gain it's unique action. If there is already an outlaw in the building those Outlaws will shootout for control. After all players have taken their turn, round 2 of the day will begin, however Outlaws may not return to an action if they already have an Outlaw there. After 3 rounds the current Day is over and all players collect outlaws used on action spaces (not in buildings) and return them to their stash. Outlaws that have been killed are left in the graveyard and are not collected. At the end of a day in which there are less Undead than players the game will end, and players will add up their Notoriety from tokens taken, Undead killed and buildings owned (if that building has been emptied of Undead.)The player with the highest notoriety wins. In the event of a tie, the Outlaw with more money wins. If still tied, the tied Outlaws duel to the death.
