App-driven gameplay presents the campaign, which takes away the need for a Game Master, and offers branching storylines so that player decisions impact and change the world around them.

Pericle: Gathering Darkness includes the components of the core Pericle RPG system (Pericle Rulebook, Hero Handbook for creating heroes, player aids, dice, 10 hero standees), the components for the Gathering Darkness campaign (50 game boards, 65 enemy standees, secret envelopes), and access to the Loremaster app, which includes the Gathering Darkness campaign.
