Description
Ruina Dei. A purgatorial space of dead gods and living saints. You are a Saint, granted new life by the last of your gods power, a godspark. That power is fading. Soon, your god will be gone, as will you. To survive, you will need to collect more godsparks. You do not need food. You do not need water. You do not even need air. You only need godsparks. Godspark is a tabletop adventure game in which players take on the role of Saints reborn in a graveyard of gods. Using a few six-sided dice and a deck of playing cards, players explore the graveyard, fighting angels, meeting other Saints, and scavenging the divine energy that they can use to perform miracles and eventually Ascend and win the game. Solo-first adventure game with as much role-playing as the player wants to add. Rules for a competitive 2-player game. Tables of encounters to populate the four godfalls explored during each game. Randomly generated map allows for replayability. Unique decaying dice pool mechanism to encourage tactical decision making and resource management.
