Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Overnight Janitor responsible for maintaining cleanliness in a large gaming store, retail space, and restaurant area. This position requires working from 12 am to 8 am, ensuring that the premises are immaculately clean and ready for the next day's operations. Pay: $16.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Sanitization:
  • Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including gaming areas, retail spaces, and restaurant facilities.
  • Sanitize surfaces, tables, chairs, and gaming equipment to meet health and safety standards.
• Floor Care:
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floor surfaces, paying attention to high-traffic areas.
  • Perform carpet cleaning and spot treatment as needed.
• Restroom Maintenance:
  • Clean and disinfect restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
  • Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Waste Management:
  • Empty and replace trash bins throughout the premises.
  • Properly dispose of waste and recyclables in designated areas.
• Window and Glass Cleaning:
  • Clean windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces to ensure a clear and spotless appearance.

• Equipment Operation:
  • Utilize cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and power washers.
  • Report any malfunctioning equipment and assist in its maintenance.
• Security Measures:
  • Assist in maintaining a secure and safe environment during overnight hours.
  • Report any security concerns or suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
