Job Title: Loss Prevention Specialist (N. Phx)
Job Description:
Overview: The Loss Prevention Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store. This is as much a customer service role as it is a loss prevention role. They utilize tools and skills to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud.
Responsibilities:
Loss Prevention
- Greeting customers as they come through the door
- Preventing vagrants entering to use facilities etc
- Stopping Code of Conduct violations at the door
- Answering questions and facilitating store tours for new customers
- Preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting incidents or issues on shift.
- Reporting any hazardous or unsafe condition to the Manager on Duty and carrying out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to themselves, other associates, vendors, customers, and the Company.
- Demonstrating integrity at all times, responding to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates and remaining focused on store specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Loss prevention/Retail preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Understanding of analytical reporting for incidents
- Excellent communication skills
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation
- Ability to work independently, requires standing for long periods of time
- Enthusiasm for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming culture, trends, and communities.
