As a Food Runner, you will be a crucial part of the dining experience, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of dishes from the kitchen to the guests. Pay: $15.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Expedite Food Service:
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food to the designated tables.
  • Assist in maintaining an efficient flow of dishes during peak service hours.
• Attention to Detail:
  • Check each order for accuracy before delivering it to the guests.
  • Confirm that each dish matches the order ticket and special requests.
• Communication with Servers and Kitchen Staff:
  • Communicate effectively with servers to coordinate the timing of food delivery.
  • Relay any special instructions or modifications to the kitchen.
• Table Setup and Clearing:
  • Set up tables with necessary utensils, condiments, and other items before food service.
  • Assist in clearing and resetting tables efficiently after guests have finished their meals.
• Guest Interaction:
  • Deliver dishes to the table with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns and escalate to the server or management as needed.
• Support Team Collaboration:
  • Work as part of a collaborative team to ensure a smooth and positive dining experience.
  • Assist in other front-of-house tasks as needed during slower periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Food Runner or similar position is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure gracefully.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
