Job Title: Card Department General Manager
Job Description:
Overview: Gamers Guild is looking for a creative and organized General Manager to join our TCG team! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the TCG Department is operating efficiently. You will oversee fulfillment and inventory management of all of Gamers Guild’s trading card singles.
Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Oversee all aspects of department operations, including employee training, guidance, and scheduling. Provide timely coaching, feedback, and reviews to ensure staff is trained and working efficiently.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive seller rating on online sales platforms and excellent in-store experience for customers at the local game stores.
- Inventory Management: Utilize TCGPlayer, ROCAS Robotics, and potential new inventory management software such as Crystal Commerce in order to curate the process for listing trading card singles for sale. Primarily responsible for inventory management, inventory procurement, and product fulfillment of the whole department, and hitting shipping metrics within the error margins.
- Product Acquisition: Develop new strategies for acquiring trading card products for store inventory and prizing. Understand release schedule for WOTC, FFG, Asmodee, JTCG, and Indie card games carried by the store.
- Teamwork: Lead and motivate a team of staff members and create a productive in-store and warehouse environment providing accurate and timely card orders to Gamers Guild stores.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management, warehouse management, or running a TCGplayer storefront.
● High school degree or equivalent education.
● Strong understanding of the card gaming industry and current market trends. - Experience planning and executing marketing or sales campaigns is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, delegate tasks, and work effectively autonomously.
● A commitment to excellent customer service including short response times and quick fulfillment turnarounds, upholding TCGPlayer seller standards.
