Nearly a decade later, Walt’s concept became a reality when the Mickey Mouse Revue premiered as an opening day attraction in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort on October 1, 1971. The attraction was retired in 2009, and the historic conductor Mickey Mouse Audio-Animatronics® figure was preserved by the Walt Disney Archives.
