White Dwarf: Issue 525 (June 2026)
White Dwarf shakes the earth this month with Cogforts and Dominus Knights proving bigger is better. The new Cogforts of the Ironweld Armouries are the focus of Issue 525, as their arrival turns heads across the Mortal Realms as part of the new Cities of Sigmar range. Lethis and Greywater Fastness get special attention in this issue, with Cities of Renown rules to represent their specialities – including two new Legends units each – and an in-depth look at their histories. Their new units use several of the new Cities of Sigmar kits, like the Freeguild Grenadiers, and you can learn all about how these dapper debutantes were created – including the Cogforts themselves – in a detailed 14-page designer’s commentary. Why is Erasmus Zonn’s mount so weird? Did we really need to see under the helmet of the Knellmage? How significant is a 45° angle to the Cities of Sigmar? Later in the issue, the Titanic Duel minigame* returns with new rules for three heavily armed Dominus-class Knights – the Castellan, Valiant, and warp-ravaged Tyrant. This quick, yet surprisingly tactical game pits two Knights against each other in a head-to-head clash where you’ll carefully plan orders and aim to knock out critical systems on the opposing machine, until one finally collapses under the weight of accumulated damage. A new short story brings the horrors of Armageddon to the page as a squad of Steel Legion Guardsmen hunker down in their stricken Chimera, with vicious Orks all around them. Their outlook is bleak – the transport crippled by one of their own mines – and even though the story is titled Answered Prayers, we’re not convinced they’re coming out the other side intact. On top of all that, you’ll get your usual complement of hobby guides and monthly missions for Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. You even get an additional Warhammer 40,000 mission designed to test the flexibility and versatility of your campaign armies, with elements of your force slowly trickling in every turn.

Vallejo: Mecha Color 69.060 - Old Gold
New formula acrylic colors with a satin finish, extra resistant and impact proof especially designed for airbrushing surfaces exposed to aggressive manipulation. The advanced formulation contains a revolutionary component which guarantees exceptional adherence on even the most difficult surfaces, and offers great resistance to rough handling, impact, friction, scratches, etc. Once dry, the Mecha surface looks the same as the original plastic of the model, while yet the smallest details of the original remain clearly visible. The color range includes primers as well as special varnishes – also with an exclusive formulation- and a series of colors for aging and weathering effects. It is recommended to apply the Mecha colors in several layers on the previously primed surface; a few hours after application the colors will have dried to form a homogenous coating of extraordinary strength and resistance. Mecha Color can be airbrushed directly or diluted with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver, and the colors can also be applied by brush. The compressor adjustment recommended is 15 – 20 PSI o 0.5 to 1 kg. For best airbrush maintenance we recommend using the Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner.Safety: Mecha Color is not flammable, and does not contain solvents. Surface Primer is available in a range of basic shades most frequently employed to prepare the surface of the model or miniature before starting the painting process. Primers can be applied on all surfaces, resin, PVC, brass, white metal or wood. The primer preserving even the smallest detail of a model, and improves the adherence of the colors applied on this base. It is recommended to apply the Primer in various layers; the product dries rapidly and forms a homogenous film of extraordinary strength and resistance within a few hours after application. Shake and apply directly from the bottle with a moist flat brush. This ocher filter allows us to change subtly the base tone of woods or light browns making it more accurate and authentic color.
