As the coach, you will use your shot cards to set up your plays in several zones on the basketball court. The more players you have undefended in the proper zones, the more points you will score. If one of your players is in a zone that matches your star card, they can make an incredible shot and score extra points. While the monsters wait for more heroes to wander into the dungeon to meet their untimely end, they bide their time by playing games they learned through torturing adventurers. For the most part, they understand how to play, but they’re a little hazy on things like the rules against cheating and whatnot. Dungeon Ball gives 1-2 players a fast-paced, arcade style experience as they try to outwit and outscore each other over the course of two halves of play. The player with the most points at the end wins. Games take around 45 min or less.
