Gates of Delirium
You have finally set out to find the truth. You’ve heard the rumors of ancient runes and the lost pages of a scattered tome that tell of ancient and evil monstrosities; calling for their return. You’ve heard tales of those who came before you in this search losing grip on their sanity as they grew nearer to the truth. As you press on you can’t help but notice that you feel less attached to reality yourself. Some days you lose track of time and can’t account for hours of the day. The whispers of secret gates to another world are growing stronger, and while no one knows who is building them... You have a dreadful hunch... Could you be the hidden architect of the Gates of Delirium? In Gates of Delirium, players will have a hand of split action cards: one side sane, and the other insane. Every round, one player will decide if it is a sane or insane round, and all players must play that side of their cards. During sane rounds, players will be searching for maps and lost pages to a secret tome, while assigning investigators to help them in their cause. During insane rounds, players collect ancient runes and work to build Gates to release the monstrosities that their sane selves have been trying so hard to understand and prevent. Earn the most victory points by the time the last monstrosity is released to be the winner in Gates of Delirium. Features: Find the truth behind the ancient tomes that speak of evil monstrosities! Sane or Insane round? Each plays differently with separate goals and actions! While Sane, send your investigators or search for maps, lost pages, and the truth. Gloom (Second Edition)
The world of Gloom is a sad and benighted place. The sky is gray, the tea is cold, and a new tragedy lies around every corner. Debt, disease, heartache, and packs of rabid flesh-eating mice—just when it seems like things can't get any worse, they do. But some say that one's reward in the afterlife is based on the misery endured in life. If so, there may yet be hope—if not in this world, then in the peace that lies beyond. In the Gloom card game, you assume control of the fate of an eccentric family of misfits and misanthropes. The goal of the game is sad, but simple: you want your characters to suffer the greatest tragedies possible before passing on to the well-deserved respite of death. You'll play horrible mishaps like Pursued by Poodles or Mocked by Midgets on your own characters to lower their Self-Worth scores, while trying to cheer your opponents' characters with marriages and other happy occasions that pile on positive points. The player with the lowest total Family Value wins. Printed on transparent plastic cards, Gloom features an innovative design by noted RPG author Keith Baker. Multiple modifier cards can be played on top of the same character card; since the cards are transparent, elements from previously played modifier cards either show through or are obscured by those played above them. You'll immediately and easily know the worth of every character, no matter how many modifiers they have. You've got to see (through) this game to believe it! Each of the three expansions for Gloom adds one more player, thus with all three expansions, this should be playable with seven players.

Gloom: Cthulhu
From Dunwich to Innsmouth, from the halls of Miskatonic University to the Charles Dexter Ward at Arkham Asylum, trouble is in the air. The stars are almost right, and terrors from beyond space and time are beginning to break through. When Cthulhu rises, we're all doomed – but whose downfall will be the most entertaining? Cthulhu Gloom takes the game play of Atlas' Gloom and puts a Lovecraftian spin on it. Each player controls a group of protagonists, and your goal is to make them as miserable and insane as possible – preferably with them dying quickly while your opponents' heroes remain sane and (at a minimum) alive. In the publisher's description: "While your characters Gibber With Ghouls and Learn Loathsome Lore to earn negative points, you'll encourage your opponents to be Analyzed by Alienists and to Just Forget About the Fungus to pile on positive points. When one group finally falls prey to the interdimensional doom that awaits us all, the player whose characters have suffered the most wins." As in Gloom, the cards in Cthulhu Gloom are transparent, allowing you to stack multiple modifier cards on a character card to alter its stats or undo what an opponent has done to you. While Cthulhu Gloom can be played on its own or combined with Gloom and its many expansions, it does introduce two new types of cards: • Story cards can be in play from the start of the game, and the first player to meet a Story card's conditions – e.g., drawing the attention of The King in Yellow or heeding The Call of Cthulhu – claims the card and gains its benefits (or drawbacks). • Transformation cards mutate a character for the remainder of the game, no matter which modifiers might come its way later. What's more, the character's image is replaced with "something hideous and slimy". You'd expect no less really...

Gloom: Cthulhu - Unpleasant Dream
In Cthulhu Gloom, you make your intrepid investigators face the most terrible terrors and madness before helping them pass on to their inevitable doom. Unpleasant Dreams brings the wonders and horrors of the Dreamlands to the table. Mix the 55 transparent cards in this set together with your copy of Cthulhu Gloom to add morbid new Modifiers, Events, Stories, Transformations, and Untimely Deaths, and a new family that calls the Dreamlands their home. Can you survive the creeping chaos of Nyarlathotep? Will your shantak be a loyal mount, or will you meet your end when you approach Azathoth? Dive into your own unpleasant dreams to find out! In addition to allowing for game play with up to six players, Unpleasant Dreams includes two new Character cards called Unwelcome Guests. Deal one or both face up to the table's center at the the start of the game. Guests "follow" the card types noted on them; no matter where it currently is, a living Guest immediately moves to join the family of the character on which one of its "trigger" cards is played. All its Modifiers are moved with it, and it's considered a member of that family until it moves again. This may delay the game's end if a final play draws a Guest to the near-winner's family!

Gloom: of Thrones
Gloom of Thrones, a standalone card game, spreads the misery and suffering of Gloom to the ill-fated land of dead monarchs, dead knights, dead brothers, dead sisters, dead heirs, dead grandmothers, dead chambermaids, and almost-dead bastards. Wrest control of a noble family, guide them through lives of satirically-riddled sadism, and deliver them to their ultimate fate. Which is, of course, more death. Printed on transparent plastic cards, Gloom of Thrones allows multiple cards to be played on top of the same character, determining their ultimate fate while still allowing you to see straight through their machinations, just like Lil' Finger, advisor to his seventeenth – whoops! eighteenth! – king and/or queen. As your characters seek a moment of respite on the Porcelain Throne, your goal is to plague them with horrible mishaps like being Seduced by a Sibling or Tumbled from a Tower, while filling the lives of the other noble families with happy events like w̶e̶d̶d̶i̶n̶g̶s̶ and family reunions that will raise their Self-Worth score. The player with the lowest-scoring, most tragedy-afflicted family wins! When you aim for the Porcelain Throne, you'd best not miss...

Gloom: Unfortunate Expedition (Second Edition)
In the Gloom card game, you make your eccentric family of misfits suffer the greatest tragedies possible before helping them pass on to the well-deserved respite of death. Just mix the 55 transparent cards in this set together with your copy of Gloom to add morbid new Modifiers, Events, and Untimely Deaths, and a new family of intrepid explorers who've faced misfortune across the globe. These days Colonel Bumpersnoot is really more of a bargain hunter, while Lady Bumpersnoot struggles with high society -- but she always loves to have guests for dinner. Their Towering Treehouse is included as a Residence card to use with the Unhappy Homes expansion. Unfortunate Expeditions introduces expeditions into the game. Only one expedition can be in play at a time. An expedition's rules affect all players as long as it remains in play. When you play a modifier of untimely death that has an expedition symbol, resolved the immediate effects of the card, then replace the current expedition with the one shown on the card. Some cards also have special effects that occur if an active expedition is already in play when the card is played.

Gloom: Unhappy Homes (Second Edition)
In the Gloom card game, you make your eccentric family of misfits suffer the greatest tragedies possible before helping them pass on to the well-deserved respite of death. Just mix the 55 transparent cards included in this set together with your copy of Gloom to add morbid new Modifiers, Events, and Untimely Deaths, and a new family -- the artistes of Le Canard Noir, whose creative endeavors always end in disaster. When art lets you down, the Black Duck is there for you. This dingy cafe is home to a motley assortment of washed-up bohemians. Here the tormented painter Rosseau buys drinks for neurotic models and destitute poets, while a troubled actress and sickly courtesan compare notes across the way. Also included are five Residences with a light blue background behind their central illustration. These are each placed next to their related family at the start of the game. New cards called Mysteries, which have a dark blue effects bar at the bottom, are also shuffled into the deck before play. A Mystery is the only card that can be placed on a Residence (and only a Residence), and can be placed on any Residence as either of your two plays. It gives that Residence's player a special effect and Pathos points that count toward his final Family Value. A Mystery remains even if the requirements for playing it are lost. You may discard a Mystery from your hand as a free play.

Gloom: Unquiet Dead (Second Edition)
The Game of Inauspicious Incidents and Grave Consequences! In the Gloom card game, you make your eccentric family of misfits suffer the greatest tragedies possible before helping them pass on to the well-deserved respite of death. Just mix the 55 transparent cards in this set together with your copy of Gloom to add morbid new Modifiers, Events, and Untimely Deaths. Unquiet Dead also introduces Stories, Undead, and Timing Symbols. The families of Gloom have many skeletons in their closets. In Unquiet Dead, the spooks come out to play. Mad scientists can Reanimate Relatives or Invent Invisibility. Vampires and shape shifters can Terrorize the Townsfolk and Go Mad in the Moonlight. Will you Give Up the Ghost, or will you hold onto it? STORIES: These cards give your families even more to fight over. Whoever claims a story gains a special benefit ... but how long can you keep it? UNDEAD: There are seven special Modifiers that allow a Character to become a supernatural creature -- a vampire, mummy, ghost, ghoul, wereduck, invisible person, or haunted portrait. These Undead Characters are both living and dead; you can still play Modifiers and Events on them, but they also count toward your Family Value and toward ending the game. TIMING SYMBOLS: Card effects in Unquiet Dead have symbols to let you know whether a card has an Instant effect that occurs when the card is played from your hand; an Ongoing effect that lasts until it is covered by another card; or a Persistent effect that can last as long as the Character is still alive ... or Undead.

Harrow County: Fair Folk Expansion
Why stop at 3 players when 4 players can play together? The Fair Folk expansion allows a player to play as the third or fourth player in any game, or as the second player against Hester. The Fair Folk are minding their own business when someone kidnapped their queen as well as her crown and sword. The other players know where they are, but you do not.You have to locate them during the battles that are going on above ground. Instead you need to make bargains and deals with other players to help you locate the queen and her stolen items. How they playThe Fair Folk take smaller turns after each of the 2 factions take a turn. They place a Fairy nest along with an offer in that nest on any hex on the map.If a player takes the offer and if the Fair Folk have enough silver cubes come out of the tree, the nest stays and the other players are forced to give information about the queen's sword, crown, or the location of the queen herself. If the Fair Folk find their queen, then they win. It's possible that 2 players can win when the Fair Folk are playing. One of the factions could get to 7 points during the same round when the Fair Folk find their queen!

Harrow County: The Game of Gothic Conflict
A witch named Hester was hung, burned, and buried under a tree. Some time later, the family of Hester come to Harrow County to destroy it, but standing in their way is eighteen-year-old Emmy who mysteriously has powers of her own. In the asymmetric combat game Harrow County: The Game of Gothic Conflict, players can play as one of the Protectors, trying to rescue townsfolk, or as one of the family, trying to destroy Harrow County. You can instead play as a third faction that originates from the surprise return of Emmy's twin sister, Kammi, who wants to rule Harrow County. Players activate mason jars to move their haints (undead creatures) around the hex-based board as they try to accomplish their missions. Combat is resolved using a never-before-seen cube tower that's built into the actual box. Finally, a third player can enter the game: Hester, the dead witch buried under the tree. She controls the roots of the tree and using the cube tower, Hester can infect haints on her roots, which causes a snake to be placed into its ear. That player can still control this haint, but now so can Hester. If Hester comes back to life, then she needs to eat the other legends to gain all her power back to win. In short, Harrow County is a thematic, tactical game of territory control and enemy elimination to determine the fate of Harrow County.

Haunt the House
In Haunt the House, we are ghosts competing to scare Ghost Hunters out of the various Rooms of our haunted house, and collecting their exploration gear as trophies. Each Ghost Hunter is scared out only by a specific combination of Scares. Each player has a hand of Scares they will use to try and get those Ghost Hunters out! On your turn, do one of two things; Play Scares, or call BOO! When you Play Scares, you can play them face down to a Ghost Hunter (so that other players won't know what you've played), or face up (which gives other players information, but allows you to activate the awesome power of the Room that Ghost Hunter is in.) When you call BOO!, point to a Ghost Hunter and reveal any facedown Scares, then (if more Scares are needed and if you have them) add Scares from your hand to finish off the Ghost Hunter. Congratulations... you've scared out that Ghost Hunter and grab their gear for your collection! At the end of the game, the ghost who has collected the most valuable sets of gear wins the game! The experienced version of the game introduces a variety of Phantoms; helpful allies that you can play to activate game-changing powers.

Hunted: Wode Ridge
They say the town of Wode Ridge has been cursed ever since Amos Wode founded the place way back in the 1800s. The sleepy, Colorado tourist trap looks plum peaceful in its postcards, but there’s a darkness about the town you can’t quite put your finger on. Some even say the town has an “other side” where the crazy roams unchecked, but I can’t speak much to that. By the 1980s, things had gotten especially weird--at least until a bunch of kids started snooping around trying to get to the bottom of the town’s supernatural goings-on. While the adults were worried about their Tupperware parties, these youngsters were out tracking down clues and finding trouble before it found them. And rumor has it they found some kind of creature in the woods too which might explain all them FBI fellers around here asking questions. And here they come now, riding around town on their bicycles. I just hope they figure things out soon. Looks like some kind of dark cloud is rolling in right behind them. Overview:Take on the role of a group of kids and their newfound alien friend, and explore Wode Ridge looking for evidence of the town’s supernatural happenings. But be wary, the Darkness knows you’re on to it, so it’ll be trying to get you before you get it. Find enough evidence to figure out what monster is currently ailing the town and then defeat it before time runs out and the Darkness overtakes you.
